How to check your renewal date and price
Your account’s Subscription Management page is the most useful place to confirm when you are due to renew. PlayStation says PS Plus renews automatically at the then-current PlayStation Store price and at the frequency selected when you purchased it, until you cancel.

- Sign in to PlayStation Account Management.
- Open Subscription Management and review the payment or renewal date shown for your membership.
- Check the amount and billing frequency displayed for your account before deciding whether to keep, change or cancel the subscription.
The renewal date and price are account-specific. Do not assume that an older subscription price will remain in place indefinitely.
What changes between Essential, Extra and Premium?
PlayStation describes the tiers as a progression of membership benefits. The right choice depends on whether you use the added features enough to justify the price shown for your account.

What happens if you change plans?
Changing tiers can result in a prorated charge. PlayStation’s Canadian support guidance says an upgrade calculation depends on the difference between plan prices and the time remaining in the current subscription. The amount for your account therefore depends on its remaining time and the prices applied to the plans.

Yes. PlayStation says wallet funds can be applied toward a subscription charge. If the wallet balance does not cover the full amount, the default payment method covers the remainder. Adding money to the wallet changes how you pay; it is not a discount on the subscription.
