Hendry, PennyMac Mortgage Investment Trust’s chief accounting officer, sold 2,444 PMT shares on October 1, 2026, according to an October 3 report by Investing.com. The report says the sale was automatic under a Rule 10b5-1 trading plan adopted on March 20, 2026, and that Hendry held 4,886 shares afterward. The exact proceeds are not consistent across the available reports, so the headline’s $19,209 should be treated as a reported figure, not a confirmed total.
What happened
Investing.com reported that Hendry disposed of 2,444 common shares of beneficial interest in PennyMac Mortgage Investment Trust (NYSE: PMT) on October 1, 2026. The report identifies Hendry as PMT’s chief accounting officer. PMT is distinct from PennyMac Financial Services (NYSE: PFSI).
The transaction report was published October 3, 2026. A secondary filing-data page identifies the related Form 4 accession as 0001464423-26-000085 and lists October 2 as the filing date, but the original October Form 4 was not available among the sources reviewed. PennyMac’s investor-relations site maintains a page for Forms 3, 4 and 5: PennyMac SEC filings.
Shares sold and reported value
Investing.com says Hendry sold 2,444 shares at $7.86 each and gives the transaction value as $19,209. Multiplying the reported share count by the stated price yields $19,209.84, or $19,210 rounded to the nearest dollar. The secondary filing-data page displays $19,210. Because these figures do not align exactly, the original Form 4 is needed to confirm the aggregate transaction value; the available reporting does not establish a definitive proceeds total.
#1 Best Overall
Was the sale made under a 10b5-1 plan?
Yes. Investing.com describes the sale as automatic under a Rule 10b5-1 trading plan Hendry adopted on March 20, 2026. A 10b5-1 plan is a prearranged trading arrangement. The reported plan context does not establish why Hendry adopted the plan, indicate his view of PMT’s value, or predict whether he will make future trades.
