First, identify which Payroll Plus you mean
Payroll Plus is not a unique product name. Different organizations use it for different services, territories and customer types. For example:

A third-party guide at ultimatix.com.in describes uses such as payslip access, tax documents, leave, attendance, training and career services. Because that site is not affiliated with TCS, treat those descriptions as indicative, not as a complete official specification.
In practical terms, Ultimatix should be treated as an internal employee and enterprise portal. A portal may display payslips or accept leave requests without being the system that calculates payroll, funds payments or files an employer’s taxes.

These are not universal Payroll Plus features. Confirm which legal entities, states or countries are covered; who registers for employer taxes; whether filing and year-end forms are included; and what is charged for implementation, integrations and support.

Choose a verified Payroll Plus provider when

- You can confirm the provider’s service geography and regulatory coverage.
- You are comfortable with a managed or quote-based service rather than a self-serve subscription.
Do not select Ultimatix as a replacement payroll product when
- You are an unrelated employer seeking software to purchase.
- You need public pricing, implementation documentation, customer onboarding or a trial.
- You need an independently operated payroll engine or tax-filing service.
If you specifically want a commercial TCS HRMS
Investigate TCS iON HRMS. TCS publishes it as a separate HRMS offering, making it a more plausible commercial comparison than Ultimatix. Public pricing was not identified, so ask about implementation, integrations, supported jurisdictions and total cost.
Questions to ask before signing
- Which legal entities, states or countries are supported?
- Who is responsible for registrations, withholding, filings, notices and year-end forms?
- Is this software-only, managed payroll, or both?

Bottom line
This is not a fair “which software is better?” contest. Payroll Plus may be a purchasable payroll service, but the exact vendor must be identified. Ultimatix is presented publicly as a restricted TCS portal, not as an HRMS that ordinary businesses can license. For an external payroll buyer, verify the relevant Payroll Plus provider; for a commercial TCS HRMS evaluation, examine TCS iON HRMS instead.
