Playper reports that its Curious Kingdom Castle Playset received Parents.com’s 2024 “Best Playset for Toddlers” recognition. That category attribution comes from Playper’s own award announcement; the complete Parents.com toddler roster and exact category labels should be checked on the original 2024 awards page before treating this as a fully verified list.
Which toddler toy won Parents’ 2024 award?
The named winner in the available account is Playper’s Curious Kingdom Castle Playset, identified by Playper as “The Best Playset for Toddlers.” Playper describes it as a pretend-play castle with a drawbridge, trap door and seven characters. The company says it can be set up without tape or glue and describes its construction as plastic-free; those material and specification claims should be confirmed against the current product packaging or manufacturer page.
Playper also reposts an unnamed parent tester saying, “My kids couldn’t get enough of the castle,” praising its sturdiness and character details. The quotation appears in Playper’s article, so the tester is not independently identified in the available record. Read the manufacturer’s announcement at Playper’s report on the 2024 Parents awards.
What Playper says about the 2024 Parents awards
According to Playper’s undated award-announcement post, Parents selected 75 toys across age groups from 300 submissions. Playper says the process included previews at major toy expos and hundreds of hours of testing with toddlers, big kids and tweens across the United States, with attention to fun, engagement, safety and inclusion. These figures and process details are manufacturer-reported rather than independently confirmed here.

Curious Kingdom Castle Playset: features to assess
Pretend-play design
The castle’s drawbridge, trap door and seven characters are intended to support open-ended stories and role-play. Character names and background details may add an early-learning element, but the available account does not establish a formal curriculum or developmental rating.
Setup and construction
Playper says the set requires no tape or glue. Confirm the current assembly instructions, materials and durability claims before buying, since product specifications can change between editions.

Is there a complete Parents Best Toddler Toys 2024 list?
Not from the evidence available for this article. Playper’s post names its own category recognition but does not reproduce a verified, complete toddler roster from Parents.com. Consequently, no other product should be presented here as a confirmed Parents toddler-category winner without checking the original award page.

What about VTech’s Sort & Discover Activity Wagon?
VTech Holdings’ 2024/2025 annual-results report says the Sort & Discover Activity Wagon was a “Parents Best Toys Award Winner,” but it does not identify the exact category. That mention does not prove the wagon belonged to Parents’ 2024 Best Toddler Toys list, so it should not be added to the category roster without the Parents.com entry. The report is available at VTech Holdings’ 2024/2025 annual results.
How to use this award information when choosing a toddler toy
- Verify the age grade: Match the package recommendation to the child and review choking-hazard warnings.
- Check the play style: The castle is a physical pretend-play set, not a movement toy, ride-on, sensory product or structured learning program.
- Inspect setup needs: Confirm whether the current version still assembles without tape or glue and whether adult help is required.
- Assess materials: Treat plastic-free and durability statements as manufacturer claims until confirmed on current documentation.
- Check availability: Retail listings, prices and stock were not established by the award account and may vary by country and date.
Bottom line on Parents Best Toddler Toys 2024
The only specifically named toddler-category winner supported here is Playper’s Curious Kingdom Castle Playset, based on Playper’s report of a Parents.com recognition. It is best understood as a pretend-play castle with interactive features and seven characters, while its current age grading, materials and full award-list status still require confirmation from primary sources.
