Paige DeSorbo’s career began with broadcast-journalism training and an assistant job at ABC News, then expanded through fashion writing, reality television, podcasting, publishing and a loungewear business. She joined Bravo’s Summer House in Season 3 and announced her departure after seven seasons in 2025, but the show was only one part of her public work.
What Paige DeSorbo did before Summer House
DeSorbo earned a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from the College of Saint Rose in 2015, according to Bravo. She has described beginning her career as an assistant to a vice president at ABC News while hoping to become a reporter. That is the supported description of the role; it should not be confused with an on-air job or a production-assistant position.
Fashion was another early interest. In an ELLE profile, DeSorbo connected it to growing up outside Albany, New York, with a stylish mother and recreating magazine looks using affordable finds. Bravo reports that she was working as a fashion writer at Betches Media when she joined Summer House. She later said she lost that job during an Amazon Live in October 2023, as recounted in a 2024 Bravo career article.
How Summer House raised her profile
DeSorbo made her Summer House debut in Season 3. The Bravo series gave her a reality-TV platform, while fashion commentary and other media projects developed alongside it. In an earlier ELLE interview, she said, “I never tried to be on reality TV,” adding that she would continue “if it continues to fit” her life. TV Insider reported that she announced her exit in June 2025 after seven seasons, following the Season 9 reunion. That marks a change in her television career, without establishing a particular reason for leaving.

Giggly Squad grew from a friendship into a media business
DeSorbo’s partnership with comedian Hannah Berner began after DeSorbo interviewed for a job at Berner’s company, according to Bravo. In March 2020, the friends started Giggly Squad as an Instagram Live; it later became a weekly podcast. The show’s official store describes its subject matter as pop culture, fashion and mental-health moments.
The project also moved into live events. Bravo says the tours had drawn more than 100,000 attendees through early 2025. Separately, the show’s undated official store page says it has held sold-out shows in 70 cities, including two Radio City Music Hall performances. These are figures reported by the respective organizations, with different time contexts.

On April 15, 2025, DeSorbo and Berner published How to Giggle: A Guide to Taking Life Less Seriously. Simon & Schuster lists the book at 208 pages, with paper-over-board and audio formats, and gives ISBN 9781668056028; the publisher calls it an instant New York Times bestseller. Bravo also reports that their YouTube series Hannah and Paige Try New Things launched in May 2025.
Fashion work and Daphne
DeSorbo’s fashion presence has included writing, content, brand collaborations and Amazon Live, as well as hosting projects identified on her official Bravo profile: The Paige DeSorbo Show and the Amazon FAST Channel series In Bed with Paige DeSorbo, launched in summer 2024.

Her fashion work took a more direct business form with Daphne, a pajama and loungewear brand. Vogue’s October 2025 profile described the autumn 2025 collection as the brand’s official launch, following an earlier summer drop. DeSorbo told Vogue she wanted a durable business rather than a label that depended on her appearing in its marketing: “I don’t want this to feel like an influencer brand. I don’t want to be in all the photos. I don’t want someone coming to the site just because they know who I am.”
Vogue reported that more than 100,000 prospective customers had signed up before Daphne’s first release, citing Klaviyo and the brand. That is a measure of pre-launch interest—not a count of confirmed customers, sales, revenue or profit. Vogue also cited Lyst’s finding of a 14 percent rise in demand for nightwear, sleepwear and loungewear in July–September 2025 compared with the same period in 2024; that category-wide figure is not a measure of Daphne’s performance.

How her career has broadened
DeSorbo’s path has crossed several formats: journalism training and assistant work, fashion writing, reality television, a co-hosted podcast and tours, a co-authored book, hosted video projects and a fashion venture. Summer House made her a recognizable television personality, while projects such as Giggly Squad and Daphne gave her work beyond the show. Publicly available figures cited here describe tour attendance, pre-launch sign-ups and book details—not her personal earnings or the financial performance of her businesses.
