OPPO says the A5x has IP65 water and dust resistance based on controlled testing. The rating is not waterproofing and does not permit intentional submersion. OPPO states that protection can decline through normal wear and explicitly says, “Damage caused by immersion in liquids is not covered by the warranty.” Keep the phone away from pools, baths and pressurized water.
Shock resistance
OPPO says its shock testing used MIL-STD 810H methodologies. That is a test method claim, not a guarantee that a phone will survive every real-world drop, impact or accident. A case and careful handling remain sensible.
