Treat ₹23,998 as an effective promotional figure that must be proved at checkout, not as the standard price everyone can pay.
Check the exact variant, seller, card or EMI requirement, exchange value, fees and warranty before ordering.

“Effectively” can combine several different benefits. It does not necessarily mean ₹23,998 leaves your bank account immediately.

Cashback, rewards and later credits should be shown separately. Count them as a post-purchase benefit only when the terms state when and how you receive them.
The exact formula behind ₹23,998 was not established. It could involve a sale price, a card promotion, exchange, EMI discount or cashback. Do not reverse-engineer the number from an assumed offer.

OnePlus lists these prices and configurations on its official specification page. The Flipkart result for the 8GB/256GB model showed ₹24,999, with a displayed ₹23,749 “Buy at” price, but also reported the item as out of stock: Flipkart listing.

How to verify the price before paying
- Open the live listing and select the advertised RAM, storage and colour.
- Enter your PIN code and sign in. Prices, delivery and eligibility can change by account or location.
- Read the seller name, return or replacement policy and whether open-box delivery applies.
- Apply the stated card, bank, coupon or EMI offer and record the instant discount.
- Calculate exchange separately. Treat the quoted value as provisional until inspection succeeds.
- At the payment screen, compare the product total with the advertised effective figure and add every fee.
- Save the order page, offer terms and invoice.
Amazon’s 8GB/256GB Oasis Green page displays offer messaging but did not establish a reliable final price in the available result. Verify its live price, seller, bank offer and delivery status directly: Amazon India listing.
Discount conditions that can change the calculation
Bank and EMI offers
Instant discounts may require a particular card, minimum order value, EMI transaction or selected tenure. OnePlus’ bank-offer terms say eligibility is governed by the bank and channel. EMI can still involve processing fees, taxes or foreclosure charges even when marketed as no-cost.
Exchange
OnePlus says its exchange programme applies an instant checkout discount, but the quote can be cancelled after inspection if the old phone is damaged, locked, mismatched or fails verification. Back up and factory-reset the device, remove account locks, confirm the IMEI, photograph its condition and retain the exchange confirmation.

Historical pricing is not a live guarantee
OnePlus’ 2025 Summer Sale advertised the Nord 4 from ₹24,999 including a ₹4,500 bank discount. That demonstrates the type of promotion used, but it is not evidence of an August 2026 offer: Summer Sale 2025 terms.

Specifications are documented on OnePlus’ specification page and the launch announcement. OnePlus also markets a metal unibody design and 0.80cm thickness on the product page. The camera hardware favours the main sensor; buyers prioritising low-light, zoom or ultrawide photography should compare newer camera-focused phones.

Does it still make sense in 2026?
The Nord 4 launched on July 16, 2024, so it is an older generation by August 2026. Its Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3, large battery, fast charging and 256GB UFS 4.0 storage remain compelling if the genuine checkout price is below ₹24,000. The support promise is also unusually long for the class, but the six-year security period is measured from launch; it is not six additional major Android versions.
Compare any newer phone at the same final price for processor generation, remaining update runway, camera hardware, display brightness, battery and seller support. Do not call the Nord 4 the best phone under ₹24,000 without current comparative testing.

- The checkout total, after immediate discounts and fees, is genuinely below ₹24,000.
- You can use the required card or EMI without treating uncertain cashback as cash savings.
- The seller, invoice, return terms and OnePlus warranty eligibility are clear.
- You value performance, battery life, display quality and fast charging more than camera versatility or compact size.
Skip when
- The ₹23,998 figure depends on an unconfirmed cashback or inflated exchange quote.
- The listing is out of stock, replacement-only or sold by an unverified seller.
- Your final price is close to a newer model after fees.
- You need leading camera performance, wireless charging, a compact body or the newest software platform.
