MEXC launched its Prediction Market on March 16, 2026, letting eligible users trade YES or NO shares on real-world outcomes through the exchange’s app and web platform. MEXC advertised zero trading and settlement fees and fast execution, but its beta announcement described zero fees as a limited-time offer; check the live terms before trading.
What is MEXC Prediction Market?
It is a MEXC product for trading positions on whether an event will happen. The company says markets may cover politics, economic data, sports, entertainment and crypto trends, as well as geopolitical and macroeconomic events. Users buy or sell YES or NO shares rather than simply placing a conventional spot order on a cryptocurrency.
MEXC announced the launch on March 16, 2026, with access through its app and web platform. On March 26, it said the product had been integrated into its centralized-exchange framework, so users could participate under a unified account. MEXC describes the integration as part of its crypto ecosystem and says the product uses a CEX-grade security framework; those are company claims, not an independent security assessment.
How to trade a YES or NO outcome
MEXC’s beta instructions describe this basic flow:
#1 Best Overall
- Register or log in to MEXC. Access depends on regional eligibility and the live product terms.
- Transfer USDT to the prediction account. The beta instructions specify USDT as the funding asset.
- Browse available topics. Review the event and the YES and NO choices shown for that market.
- Place a buy or sell order. MEXC says users can buy or sell YES or NO shares. Check the market’s displayed terms before submitting an order; the launch materials do not establish a universal pricing or settlement rule for every market.
A market’s displayed probability is an indication of participant expectations, not a guarantee that the event will resolve that way. MEXC says its probability information is not investment advice.
Are the fees really zero, and how fast is execution?
MEXC’s launch release advertised zero trading fees and zero settlement fees, and described minimal slippage across categories. Its beta page, however, characterized zero fees as available “for a limited time.” That wording does not establish a permanent fee policy. Confirm the current fee schedule and any market-specific terms before placing an order.

MEXC also described execution as millisecond-level and claimed it was “30x faster than comparable products.” The release provided no independent benchmark methodology, so the multiplier should be treated as a MEXC marketing claim rather than a verified comparison. Fast execution also does not establish that a market has deep liquidity or that an order will avoid slippage.
What changed after launch?
On July 24, 2026, MEXC announced an “Up or Down” feature within Prediction Markets. The company described automatic five- and 15-minute cycles, initially for BTC. It said settlement would use a Composite Real-Time Index with a Time-Weighted Average Price methodology. This is a separate short-cycle format from the broader event markets; check the terms shown for an individual market to understand how that market resolves.

Not everywhere. That list reflects the launch announcement, not a guarantee of current eligibility. Availability is compliance-dependent and may change. Check the live MEXC product terms and whether the feature is available to your account before transferring funds or trading.

What to consider before trading
- Event risk: An outcome can differ from the probability suggested by market participants. A position can lose value if the event resolves against it.
- Market-specific terms: Review how the event is defined and resolved, and the order details shown in the product. The launch materials do not set out one settlement method applicable to every market.
- Liquidity and slippage: MEXC’s statement about minimal slippage is a company claim. The materials do not provide market-by-market liquidity figures or independent slippage measurements.
- Eligibility and fees: Regional access and fee terms can change; confirm both for your account and the specific market at the time of trading.
- Venue comparison: To compare prediction venues, look beyond headline fees and speed. Check settlement fees and methodology, market selection, liquidity, execution evidence, custody and account integration, and geographic and regulatory restrictions.
MEXC Prediction Market is an exchange-integrated way to trade event outcomes, but its most prominent advantages—zero fees, minimal slippage and exceptionally fast execution—are claims whose current terms or independent verification should not be assumed. Treat each market as a distinct position with its own rules and risks.
