Former MLB All-Star Matt Holliday’s estate in Stillwater, Oklahoma, was reported listed for $8.95 million, down from an initial $12 million asking price in February 2026. But the current offer reportedly covers 20 acres, compared with 136 acres in the original package; additional land is available separately. That change means the price reduction is not a like-for-like comparison.
What is the reported asking price?
Chron reported the $8.95 million asking price for the 20-acre offering, after the property was first listed for $12 million in February 2026. AS USA also reported the revised price. These are asking prices, not evidence of a completed sale. The active listing and its current terms have not been confirmed here, so the figure should be treated as the reported price as of October 2026, not a guaranteed current offer. Chron and AS USA describe the listing.
Why the $3.05 million reduction is not a simple price cut
The listed price fell by $3.05 million, from $12 million to $8.95 million, while the acreage in the reported offer fell from 136 acres to 20 acres. Chron says the remaining acreage can be purchased separately. Because the package changed, the two asking prices do not establish how the same property or land was repriced on a like-for-like basis.
| Reported offering | Asking price | Acreage included |
|---|---|---|
| Initial listing, February 2026 | $12 million | 136 acres |
| Later listing, reported October 2026 | $8.95 million | 20 acres; additional acreage reportedly available separately |
These are figures reported by Chron; the acreage package sizes have not been independently verified as survey figures. Confirm the live listing for the current price, acreage, and what is included.

What does the Stillwater estate reportedly include?
Chron identifies the property as 3003 S Country Club Rd in Stillwater. AS USA reports a 7,500-square-foot, five-bedroom house built in 2022, with two offices. The property details come from news reports of listing information, not an independent inspection.
Baseball and recreation
The reported baseball setup includes a professionally lit field with turf, bleachers, a fire pit behind home plate, and batting cages. Reports say Holliday used the field for recreation and for his sons’ practice. Other reported amenities include an indoor pickleball and basketball court, a putting green, gym, and running trails.

Home and outdoor amenities
Reported features include a two-level pool with a waterfall and hot tub, an outdoor kitchen, a guest house, and a workshop. AS USA also mentions a swim-through grotto. Chron reports that listing agent Wyatt Poindexter described the pool as a roughly $2 million project; that is an agent-attributed project-cost estimate, not an independently audited figure.
Furnishings and exclusions
Chron reports that the current listing information includes more than $3 million worth of custom furnishings and excludes Holliday’s baseball memorabilia. Confirm both points against the active listing before relying on them, since included items can affect the scope of an offer.

What is known about Holliday’s connection to the property?
Chron and AS USA report that Holliday bought the land for $3 million in 2018. That historical land purchase price is not the estate’s current asking price, a verified market valuation, or the sale price of a completed transaction. The available reporting does not establish an investment return, renovation cost, or market-wide appreciation rate.
Chron attributes to Holliday a comment made to Mansion Global earlier in 2026: “Some of our favorite memories here revolve around hosting college students and professional athletes for meals, conversation and meaningful fellowship.” Because the original Mansion Global article was not available in the reporting reviewed by Chron, this quote should be understood as an indirect attribution.
