Windscribe’s listed standard prices are $9 per month or $69 per year, and its checkout says subscriptions renew automatically. Treat the $70 offer as unconfirmed until you can verify the seller, checkout total, subscription term, and renewal terms.
What the $70 offer would cost if its terms are genuine
At face value, $70 for 36 months works out to about $1.94 per month, paid upfront. That calculation does not establish that the offer exists, that it is available to you, or that it includes 36 months of Windscribe Pro. The official Windscribe pricing pages reviewed list monthly and yearly plans, not a three-year plan at this price.
Before paying a third party, confirm that the checkout identifies Windscribe Pro, states a three-year term, and shows $70 as the complete charge, including any taxes or fees. Also check who is selling the subscription, whether the offer is limited to new customers or particular regions, how it is redeemed on your account, when the term begins, and what happens when it ends. The reviewed official pages do not establish those terms for this advertised offer.
How the offer compares with Windscribe’s listed plans
| Option | Published cost and billing | Data and locations | What to know |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0; monthly data allowance | 10 GB per month with a confirmed email, or 2 GB per month without one; fewer locations than Pro | Windscribe says the free plan uses the same infrastructure and app as paid access. (Windscribe, 2026) |
| Build-A-Plan | Windscribe’s help article describes locations at $1 per month each and a $3 minimum; check checkout for the configuration and total | Unlimited data; full R.O.B.E.R.T. is described as a $1 add-on | Useful to compare if you need only selected locations or features rather than the full Pro plan. (Windscribe, 2026) |
| Pro, monthly | $9 per month | Unlimited bandwidth; 69+ countries | Windscribe describes Pro as including fully customizable R.O.B.E.R.T., port forwarding, and custom configurations for all locations. (Windscribe, 2026) |
| Pro, yearly | $69 billed every 12 months on the upgrade page reviewed October 4, 2026 | Unlimited bandwidth; 69+ countries | The checkout states that the plan renews automatically and can be canceled anytime. (Windscribe, 2026) |
| Reported separate annual promotion | TechRadar reported $39 upfront for one year on September 3, 2026 | Not stated in the report cited here | This was a different offer, reported by a secondary source; it does not verify the $70 three-year plan or establish that the annual promotion remains available. |
The official standard prices come from Windscribe’s May 1, 2026 help article and its upgrade page as viewed October 4, 2026. Prices and checkout terms can change, so check the live Windscribe checkout before comparing totals.

What to verify before paying a third party
- Seller and redemption: Identify the seller and confirm how the subscription is added to your Windscribe account. Do not assume a code or account will work with an existing subscription.
- Term and start date: Confirm that the purchase grants 36 months and establish whether the term starts at purchase, redemption, or another date.
- Total and renewal: Check the final amount due now, the renewal cadence and price, whether renewal is automatic, and how to turn it off.
- Eligibility: Read any new-customer, country, account, or payment-method restrictions before checkout.
- Refunds and support: Find the refund conditions and determine whether the seller or Windscribe handles billing problems.
Windscribe’s official checkout wording for its listed plans is “Renews automatically. Cancel anytime.” That statement applies to the checkout page reviewed, not necessarily to an independently sold three-year offer. Get the third-party offer’s own renewal and cancellation terms in writing before purchase.

Choose Free if your usage fits the limit
If the monthly allowance and smaller location selection are enough, the free plan avoids a subscription payment. The allowance depends on whether you confirm an email, so assess your expected monthly use against the applicable limit.

Compare Build-A-Plan if you need only a few locations
Build-A-Plan may suit someone who wants selected locations rather than every Pro feature. Since Windscribe describes a minimum and optional add-on, use the current checkout to price the exact configuration you would use.
Consider listed Pro pricing when you want the full plan
Windscribe describes Pro as its full plan, with unlimited bandwidth, access to 69+ countries, customizable R.O.B.E.R.T., port forwarding, and custom configurations for all locations. Compare the annual $69 charge with the monthly $9 option based on how long you expect to subscribe and whether you are comfortable with the stated renewal behavior.

Buy the $70 three-year offer only after confirming its terms
If a seller cannot clearly document the product, 36-month duration, account compatibility, eligibility, renewal or expiry behavior, and refund route, compare against Windscribe’s own checkout instead. A low upfront price is not enough to establish the value of a subscription whose duration or post-term conditions are unclear.
