Quick wins for a faster PC:
Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Jadens is a legitimate, value-focused choice—not a proven “top brand” for every shipping operation. The Jadens 268BT is the sensible starting point for standard 4×6-inch labels, while the 328BT is designed around 3×5-inch stock. Both advertise direct-thermal printing, Bluetooth and USB connectivity, 203-dpi-class output and speeds up to about 150 mm/s.
Choose Jadens when low cost, phone printing and a compact setup matter more than Wi-Fi, AirPrint, Ethernet, documented duty cycles or a mature office support ecosystem. Rollo or Brother are stronger fits for those requirements; MUNBYN is the closest budget alternative.
What Jadens printers are—and are not
Jadens sells direct-thermal printers aimed at home offices, online sellers, small businesses and shippers. A shipping-label printer prints black-and-white labels on heat-sensitive stock; it is not the same as a small general-purpose label maker.
Its current range includes the 268BT for conventional 4×6-inch carrier labels, the 328BT for 3×5-inch labels, and other Bluetooth/USB models such as the 168BT and 468BT. The B1 is a compact 2-inch label maker and should not be treated as a replacement for a standard 4×6 shipping printer. Availability, bundles and prices change on the Jadens collection page.

Why it makes sense
- 4×6 matches the format used by many marketplace and carrier workflows.
- Bluetooth lets a phone or tablet print without a cable; USB provides a more predictable computer connection.
- Up to 150 mm/s is competitive on paper for an inexpensive desktop unit, but it is a manufacturer-stated maximum rather than a guaranteed sustained rate.
- Generic thermal labels can avoid a tightly controlled proprietary supply system, subject to the model’s supported width and stock specifications.
Who should skip it
Skip the 268BT if you need shared office printing over Wi-Fi or Ethernet, AirPrint discovery, documented industrial duty cycles, color output or independently verified long-term reliability. The available official material establishes specifications and policies, not superiority over established professional brands.

Jadens 328BT: useful specialist, not a universal 4×6 replacement
The 328BT is built around 3×5-inch labels. Jadens says it can resize a 4×6 label to 3×5 by default, but resizing can alter layout, shrink text and reduce barcode margins. Print a test label and verify that the carrier or marketplace accepts the resulting barcode before changing your standard format.
Good use cases
- Small parcels where a 3×5 label contains all required information.
- Inventory, product and customized labels.
- Users deliberately reducing stock size rather than trying to reproduce every 4×6 template.
The page lists 203 dpi, Bluetooth and USB, support claims for Windows, Mac, Chromebook, iPhone, iPad and Android, and speeds up to 150 mm/s (also described there as up to 72 labels per minute). Those are manufacturer claims and depend on label length and workflow.

How direct thermal printing works
A direct-thermal head heats treated label stock to create a monochrome image. You buy labels instead of ink or toner, but printing is not free: labels, electricity, cleaning and eventual replacement parts remain costs.
- Heat, sunlight and friction can fade or darken labels over time.
- Color branding requires preprinted stock or another printer technology.
- “Waterproof” describes particular label material and adhesive, not the printer itself.
Will Jadens work with your selling platform?
The 268BT and 328BT pages list eBay, Amazon, Etsy, Shopify, Shippo, Easyship, ShipWorks, USPS, UPS and FedEx-related workflows. These are manufacturer compatibility claims, not independent certifications.
Separate four questions before purchase:
- Platform compatibility: Can the service generate a printable PDF or image?
- Operating-system compatibility: Can your phone or computer communicate with this exact model?
- Native mobile printing: Does the marketplace app send the job directly to the printer?
- App-mediated printing: Must you download the label, open it in Jadens’ app, set the size and then print?
A service named on a product page may still require a browser, driver or Jadens app. Confirm the workflow for your device rather than assuming one-tap printing.

Is Bluetooth convenient enough?
Bluetooth keeps a packing station cable-free and is useful for iPhone, iPad and Android printing without joining a local Wi-Fi network. Its trade-off is setup friction: pairing can fail, mobile apps may be required, and PDF labels may need to be imported before printing. Bluetooth is generally point-to-point, not a shared office printer.
Jadens’ support guidance notes that connection behavior varies by device and model. Do not generalize 268BT or 328BT claims to every Jadens printer.
Compatibility checklist before ordering
- Identify the exact Jadens model.
- Identify your device: iPhone, Android, Mac, Windows PC or Chromebook.
- Choose Bluetooth or USB as the primary connection.
- Confirm that your platform exports a supported PDF or image.
- Download the current app or driver from the Jadens support center.
- Confirm label width, height and stock type, including roll or fan-fold requirements.
Setup: a reliable first print
- Connect the supplied power adapter and turn the printer on.
- Load compatible labels with the printable side facing the print head.
- Install the model’s Jadens app or desktop driver.
- Pair through the instructed app or operating-system Bluetooth settings.
- Run automatic label identification or calibration.
- Print the included test label.
- Download a label and select 4×6 or 3×5—not a generic “fit” setting.
- Disable “Fit to page” or other scaling that changes dimensions.
- Print one label and inspect or scan its barcode before a batch.
- Save the working paper-size and printer settings.
Troubleshooting common failures
Bluetooth will not pair
- Power-cycle the printer and close the Jadens app.
- Forget the printer in Bluetooth settings and restart the phone or computer.
- Reopen the app and pair using the model-specific method.
- Temporarily disconnect nearby Bluetooth devices and ensure another device is not connected.
- Try USB, update the driver or app, then recalibrate.
Labels are misaligned
- Check exact width and height in the print dialog.
- Turn off PDF scaling.
- Load the roll straight and run gap or black-mark calibration.
- Confirm the stock is supported and that a 4×6 PDF is not being forced into a 3×5 layout.
Output is faint or incomplete
- Verify genuine direct-thermal stock and its orientation.
- Clean dust or adhesive from the print head.
- Adjust print density.
- Replace labels damaged by heat or sunlight.
- Check whether the source PDF itself is missing graphics.
- Allow cooling during long batches if the printer overheats.
Is 203 dpi and 150 mm/s enough?
203 dpi is normal for shipping labels and is generally sufficient for addresses and barcodes when the source file, scaling and calibration are correct. Higher resolution can help with very small text, but it does not guarantee better scanning.
Best Value
- Genuine JADENS 4x6 Thermal labels, 500 shipping labels per roll. Ideal for shipping and logistics printing
- Compatible with Rollo, IDRPT, Zebra, Brother, MUNBYN, and other direct thermal printers
- Waterproof, oil-proof, easy peeling with perforated line
- Fade Resistant & Scratch Resistant
- BPA/BPS Free
Approximately 150 mm/s is a maximum advertised figure. Actual throughput also includes PDF loading, Bluetooth transfer, label gaps, calibration and operator handling. Jadens documentation does not establish an industrial duty cycle or lifespan, so high-volume buyers should demand those figures before relying on the printer for warehouse-scale work.
Warranty, returns and support
The Jadens collection page displays a 30-day return guarantee, and relevant product material shows a one-year warranty. Coverage, exclusions, geography and the seller responsible for the return must be confirmed for the exact model and purchase channel. Jadens provides manuals and troubleshooting through its support portal.
Before ordering, check who pays return shipping, whether international coverage applies, whether replacement or refund is offered, response times, current drivers, and availability of power adapters, label holders and other parts. The warranty page contains the applicable terms.

Sources: MUNBYN, Rollo Wireless and Brother. Promotional prices and included items can change. MUNBYN’s two-year warranty, lifetime support, 970,000-label lifespan and alignment claims are manufacturer statements, not independent reliability tests. Rollo lists a one-year replacement warranty and 30-day money-back guarantee. For a wired Rollo option, see its USB printer page.

Choose Jadens when
- You want an inexpensive thermal printer for home or small-business shipping.
- You need Bluetooth from a phone or tablet and can keep USB as a fallback.
- Your volume is low to moderate.
- You are comfortable with a companion app, calibration and occasional troubleshooting.
- You do not require Wi-Fi, Ethernet, AirPrint or enterprise support.
Choose an alternative when
- Several office users need network access.
- You require direct AirPrint or app-independent discovery.
- You need documented duty-cycle, service-level or long-term durability data.
- You cannot tolerate PDF-scaling, Bluetooth or calibration issues.
- You need color or a mature enterprise integration ecosystem.
Bottom-line buying decision
Buy the Jadens 268BT for the most conventional, budget-friendly 4×6 Bluetooth/USB setup. Buy the 328BT only when 3×5 labels genuinely fit your carrier and marketplace workflow. Consider MUNBYN RW403B for its advertised two-year warranty and app emphasis, Rollo Wireless for Wi-Fi and AirPrint, and Brother QL-1110NWB when office-grade connectivity and support justify the much higher price.
