Do not describe the phone as $255 (15% off $300) unless Total Wireless’ live order summary actually reduces the device price by $45. A coupon could instead reduce the plan, fail on the promotional phone, or be rejected when the port-in offer is selected. Taxes may also be calculated on a pre-discount amount depending on jurisdiction.
How to check the real price before you pay
- Open the official Total Wireless site and locate the iPhone 15 128GB promotion.
- Confirm that the $300 price is still displayed on August 18, 2026, and note storage, color and condition.
- Select the required Total ALL ACCESS plan or higher and review its exact three-month cost.

Confirm whether returning the handset automatically reverses service charges. Wireless service, activation fees and taxes may follow separate refund rules, and a returned phone may need to be paid off or restored before the account is closed.

A $300 device can be more expensive than a $429 unlocked phone once three months of unwanted service, activation and taxes are included. Conversely, someone already planning to move to Total Wireless may value the lower upfront hardware price enough to accept the commitment.

The iPhone 15 has a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display, A16 Bionic chip, Dynamic Island, USB-C, a 48MP main camera, 5G and Apple-rated video playback of up to 20 hours. Apple’s specifications are listed on the Certified Refurbished 128GB page.
It is an older generation than Apple’s newest iPhones. Apple has not published a specific end date for software support, so buyers should expect a shorter remaining support horizon than with a newer model without assuming a particular cutoff year.
Who should buy—and who should skip it
It can make sense if you:
- Can successfully port in from another carrier.
- Were already considering Total Wireless service for at least three months.
- Prioritize the lowest possible upfront phone price.
- Are comfortable verifying lock, return and activation terms.
- See the coupon reduce the intended charge in the final cart.
Skip it if you:
- Need an unlocked phone immediately or must use another carrier.
- Would switch carriers only because of the $300 headline.
- Already have a cheaper plan whose cost would continue during the commitment.
- Need Apple’s clearly stated refurbished warranty and 14-day return policy.

Buy only if the live checkout confirms the device, unlock policy, three-month service total, fees and coupon treatment. If you want a straightforward unlocked purchase with known protections, Apple’s $529 Certified Refurbished 128GB model is the cleaner benchmark; Best Buy’s roughly $429–$510 listings may cost less but require closer inspection of condition, seller and warranty.
