Applications were accepted from 20 July to 2 August 2024, and the Ministry of Defence cancelled the online exam that had been scheduled for 10–14 September 2024. A later exam date or final outcome has not been verified, so applicants should not treat the announced rescheduling as confirmation that a new date was set.
Is Indian Navy INCET 01/2024 registration open?
No. The application window ran from 20 July 2024 through 23:59 on 2 August 2024. That deadline has passed; the 2024 application dates are not current instructions for a new recruitment cycle. The contemporaneous vacancy and application overview was reported by Scroll.in.
What happened to the scheduled exam?
The Ministry of Defence said on 9 September 2024 that the pan-India online examination planned for 10–14 September had been cancelled. Its notice stated: “Due to unforeseen technical and administrative reasons, the exam has been cancelled and will be rescheduled at a later date.” The explanation is the Ministry’s stated reason; no more specific cause was given in that notice. Read the Press Information Bureau notice.
Has the exam been rescheduled, or has a result been announced?
A later exam date and final result have not been confirmed here. The September 2024 notice said the exam would be rescheduled, but that wording alone does not establish that a new date was subsequently published. Check the Indian Navy’s official civilian recruitment notices and candidate portal for any current update before making travel or preparation plans. Do not infer from the cancellation notice that the recruitment cycle was abandoned or completed.
