India Affiliate Summit 2022 was a two-day affiliate and performance-marketing conference held September 14–15 at The Leela Ambience in Gurugram, Haryana. Organized by the Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) and vCommission, it brought together businesses and professionals across affiliate marketing, ecommerce, advertising and digital media. The event has ended; this is a retrospective, not a registration page.

What was India Affiliate Summit 2022?

The summit was the eighth edition of an in-person conference and exhibition for India’s affiliate-marketing ecosystem. IAMAI describes it as a place for networking and knowledge-sharing among participants such as advertisers, affiliate networks, publishers, bloggers, influencers, agencies, ad-tech companies and digital marketers. IAMAI says the event started in 2015; a pre-event article claimed a 2005 founding, a conflicting origin date that is not established by the official event listing. IAMAI’s event listing

Affiliate marketing is one part of performance marketing: a publisher or partner promotes an advertiser’s offer and may earn a commission for a tracked action. The summit’s scope was broader, including programmatic advertising, influencer marketing, ecommerce and direct-to-consumer (D2C) business.

When and where was the summit held?

  • Dates: September 14–15, 2022.
  • Venue: The Leela Ambience, Gurugram, Haryana.
  • Format: In-person conference and exhibition.
  • Hours listed by IAMAI: 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

Some promotional material used “Delhi” as shorthand, but the venue was in Gurugram, not New Delhi. IAMAI’s event listing

Who organized it, and who sponsored or exhibited?

IAMAI’s post-event release names IAMAI and vCommission as organizers. Admitad described itself as the “Powered By” sponsor. Other companies publicized their event presence or booths, including MGID and Offer18. Sponsorship and exhibition indicate participation, not an independent endorsement or evidence that a company was the best choice for attendees.

What topics and formats did it include?

Pre-event material highlighted B2B affiliate programs, monetization and revenue generation, brand commerce, programmatic reach, social-media conversion, ecommerce and D2C marketing. The post-event release also described discussion of social listening, influencer marketing, creativity, connected TV, audio, new media and Web3-related performance marketing. These subjects show the event’s wider remit beyond affiliate commissions alone.

IAMAI’s post-event account describes keynotes, panel discussions, fireside chats and masterclasses. Preview material also promoted networking and an exhibition. The original preview described “Affiliate Street,” four tracks and networking lunch as pass inclusions; those are historical promotional claims, not current offerings. Who was listed as a speaker?

The pre-event article listed the following speakers. A preview list is not proof that every announced person appeared:

  • Neha Kulwal, Country Manager/Country Head at Admitad India
  • Parul Bhargava, CEO of vCommission
  • Abhishek Gupta, Senior Vice President of Growth at Mamaearth
  • Lalatendu Panda, Senior Vice President and CMO at Reliance
  • Anita Nayyar, COO of Media and Communications at Patanjali

IAMAI’s post-event release separately names these participants:

  • Virginia Sharma, Head of Regional Marketing—India, Google Cloud
  • Nitin Guleria, Deputy General Manager, Samsung Electronics
  • Sameer Jain, Vice President and Head of D2C Ecommerce, Max Life Insurance
  • Nimish Agrawal, Senior Vice President and Head of Marketing, Niva Bupa

The two lists should be read as different records—one announced before the event and one named after it—not merged into a single confirmed attendance list. Pre-event speaker list · Post-event speaker references

How large was the event?

Pre-event announcements projected more than 2,500 participants. Afterward, partner coverage reported roughly 3,000 delegates. Those figures come from promotional and partner materials, not an audited attendance report, so they should not be treated as a precise official count. What did tickets reportedly cost in 2022?

A pre-event article reported two-day entry-level access from ₹10,999 and a pass with two nights’ accommodation at about ₹34,999. It also described Gold and Platinum categories, and said there was no walk-in entry and that paid passes included networking lunch. These are reported promotional terms from 2022, not independently verified official prices. Registration for this completed event is no longer available. Historical ticket information

Who would have benefited most from attending?

Strong fit

  • Publishers, bloggers, creators, coupon and cashback sites with an existing audience or traffic source.
  • Advertisers and D2C or ecommerce brands seeking measurable acquisition channels.
  • Affiliate networks, ad-tech providers, agencies and media buyers comparing partners or building business relationships.

Possible fit

  • Beginners looking to meet industry contacts, provided they had a clear business question and budget for travel.
  • Social-media marketers exploring performance-based monetization, and brand marketers evaluating publisher or influencer distribution.

Weak fit

  • People expecting a step-by-step beginner course rather than an industry conference.
  • Businesses without a trackable offer, lead funnel or ecommerce product.
  • Prospective affiliates with no audience, traffic source, content channel or compliance plan.
  • Consumers expecting a public-facing shopping exhibition.

Was it worth attending?

There is no single answer independent of a person’s role and goals. The event offered concentrated access to networks, advertisers, publishers and vendors, plus exposure to Indian D2C and ecommerce use cases. That could make the cost worthwhile for a business with specific partnership or vendor decisions to make. A pass starting at the historically reported ₹10,999 was only part of the expense: travel and accommodation also mattered.

The available post-event account confirms sessions and participation, but does not establish audited lead generation, deals, revenue gains or attendee satisfaction. Vendor-heavy conferences can provide useful comparisons, but sponsor sessions may have sales objectives and complex issues—such as attribution, fraud and compliance—often need technical follow-up. Anyone considering a similar event should set a target, arrange meetings in advance, and calculate the break-even value of the pass and travel.

Questions to take to a network or tracking vendor

  • Which traffic sources, geographies and verticals are accepted?
  • How are conversions attributed, and what are the attribution window and integration requirements?
  • Under what rules can conversions be rejected, and what fraud controls are used?
  • What are the payout schedule, threshold, commission terms and any exclusivity restrictions?
  • Can reporting be exported, and what evidence supports a performance claim?

Practical options for affiliate marketers now

The summit’s historical vendors are not automatically recommendations. For a current decision, distinguish a network that connects advertisers and publishers from software a brand uses to manage its own partner program, and check present availability and terms directly.

Admitad

Admitad offers signup routes for publishers and creators, while Admitad Perform is positioned for brands running affiliate, promo-code and mobile campaigns with tracking, publisher discovery, deep linking, fraud-protection features and integrations. These are different use cases: a publisher can investigate offers, while a brand may evaluate campaign-management software. Admitad publisher and creator signup · Admitad Perform

The Perform page listed Rise at ₹13,400 per month or ₹1,28,640 per year plus a 3.5% tracking fee, and Peak at ₹43,215 per month or ₹5,18,580 per year; it stated Peak is free upon reaching a minimum order volume and that VAT may apply. These prices and terms were observed on August 16, 2026 and should be checked on the provider’s page before buying. Fixed software fees may be unattractive to low-volume brands; publishers with no traffic may get little value from a brand-side subscription.

vCommission

vCommission has separate routes for publishers/partners and advertisers. Its FAQ says there is no joining or setup fee for affiliates or advertisers, and its advertiser page describes performance-based campaigns without setup or maintenance fees. Indian affiliates should consult the India-specific payment page: it specifies a ₹1,000 approved-commission threshold, NEFT/RTGS payment and PAN/TDS requirements. Confirm accepted traffic, available offers, rejection rules and payout timing before committing significant effort. vCommission partner signup · vCommission advertiser information · vCommission FAQ · vCommission payment details
