If a Hyperliquid withdrawal has not arrived, first check whether you made a cross-chain Withdrawal or an internal Send. The two actions have different destinations and evidence. For a compromised wallet, stop using its address and move any remaining assets only if it is still safe and able to sign; Hyperliquid’s guidance does not promise recovery of stolen funds.
How Hyperliquid withdrawals involve validators
Hyperliquid’s API documentation describes a withdrawal as a signed request: after the request is made, “the L1 validators will sign and send the withdrawal request to the bridge contract.” Hyperliquid’s API reference gives this as the validators’ role in the documented withdrawal path.
A Zellic report says that, assuming validator power is equally distributed, at least two thirds of validators would need to sign a withdrawal. That is a finding in the report, not independent confirmation of the current deployment’s validator configuration. Hyperliquid’s audit index identifies the Zellic-audited contract as the legacy bridge contract, and the Zellic report also notes an informational signature-domain maintenance risk. An audit covers the contract and scope described in the report; it does not guarantee the safety of every current contract, validator operation, website, or user action.
A third-party L2BEAT profile describes hot and cold validator sets and a cold-validator invalidation window. This is design context, not an official recovery procedure, and its parameters may change. The available sources do not establish that validators cannot collude or that a bridge withdrawal is risk-free.

Send or Withdrawal: identify what you actually did
Open the Portfolio page and inspect the Deposits & Withdrawals table, especially its Action column. Hyperliquid explains that “Send is used to send tokens to another account on the Hyperliquid blockchain. It is not to withdraw to another blockchain.” The official withdrawal FAQ distinguishes the actions as follows:
| Action | Destination | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Send Spot or Send USDC (Perps Wallet) | Another account on Hyperliquid | Check the internal transfer details in Deposits & Withdrawals. If it went to an address you control, connect that wallet to Hyperliquid. If it went to a centralized exchange, the exchange may need to integrate Hyperliquid to coordinate access. |
| Withdrawal | An address on another blockchain | Check the withdrawal status and, if completed, use the explorer link beside the timestamp to see the destination address that received it. |
Diagnose a delayed or missing withdrawal
In Portfolio, open the Deposits & Withdrawals table, locate the relevant row, and confirm that its action is Withdrawal. Then follow the status shown there:
Rank #2
- Ideal for Gifting
- Ideal for a bookworm
- Compact for travelling
- Pending: Check the time estimate shown in the withdrawal modal and allow for possible network congestion. Hyperliquid says congestion can make processing take longer.
- Completed: Select the explorer link beside the timestamp and compare the receiving address with the address you intended to use. The explorer transaction is the evidence to inspect for where the funds went.
- Failed: Hyperliquid’s FAQ directs users to Unit for the BTC, ETH, and SOL deposit/withdrawal case it describes, and says Unit is independent. Use the FAQ’s guidance for that specific case.
The API reference quotes a $1 fee and approximately five minutes to finalize for its described flow, qualified as accurate “at the time of this writing.” Current onboarding guidance says fees can vary by chain and method. Treat the API figures as documentation context, not a live quote or guaranteed completion time; check the live withdrawal interface for the route-specific fee and estimate. If funds keep getting redeposited
Hyperliquid says some Telegram bots connected to wallets automatically deposit balances. If this is happening, its suggested options are to send USDC to another address you control on Hyperliquid and withdraw from that address, or contact the bot’s support for help. Before sending, independently verify the destination address and the official support channel. Hyperliquid warns that unsolicited direct messages are impersonators; use its official support guidance to find ticket or email routes.

What to do if your wallet may be compromised
Hyperliquid’s compromised-wallet instructions say to treat the affected address as permanently unsafe. If the wallet can still sign safely, moving remaining assets may be time-sensitive, but there is no guarantee that assets can be recovered once an attacker has control.
- Stop using the affected address. Do not continue to rely on it for transactions or future funds.
- Create a new wallet through a trusted provider. Use the new address for future activity.
- Move remaining assets if possible. Do this only if the wallet can still sign and you can act without exposing the new wallet or its credentials.
- Revoke contract permissions and check for malware where relevant. These steps can reduce ongoing exposure but do not reverse transfers already completed.
- Protect your credentials. Hyperliquid says: “Never share your wallet, seed phrase, password, or private key with anyone or any website.”
For future self-custody, Hyperliquid lists Ledger, Trezor, and Keystone as hardware-wallet examples that can pair with a browser wallet so the private key stays off the browser. A hardware wallet is optional security practice, not a Hyperliquid requirement, and it cannot undo a completed transfer or restore a stolen key.

Contact support without exposing yourself to impersonators
Use the support routes linked from Hyperliquid’s official support guidance. Do not respond to unsolicited direct messages, and check the full website URL before connecting a wallet. Never provide a seed phrase or private key to someone claiming to help. Support can guide you through the documented process, but the cited guidance does not say it can reverse a completed mistaken transfer or restore a stolen key.
