For a return or exchange, call Target at 1-800-591-3869 for an online or app purchase, or 1-800-440-0680 for a store purchase. For relay service, dial 711. For other problems, use the matching topic in Target Help to find self-service steps or a contact option.
Choose the right Target contact route
Start by identifying whether your issue concerns a store purchase, an online or app order, or another topic. Target publishes different returns-and-exchanges numbers by purchase channel; other support needs are routed through topic-specific help pages.

Start an online return or report an order problem
You can begin without calling by opening the order on Target.com or in the Target app. Select Return or Fix an issue, then follow the prompts for the problem. If you need to speak with someone about an online or app return or exchange, Target lists 1-800-591-3869.
Contact Target about an online exchange
Target directs customers with online exchange questions to Target.com Guest Services. If the item is available, Target may process the exchange as a return and a new order while honoring the original purchase price. Availability and the outcome depend on the order and item.

Get help with a price match
For an online or app purchase, Target says you can use online chat or call 1-800-591-3869. For a store purchase, ask Guest Services at a local Target store. Target’s price-match policy says eligible requests may be made at purchase or within 14 days; check the current policy and eligibility before relying on that window. See Target’s Price Match Policy.
Check order options before calling about a change
For an order cancellation or address change, open the order details on Target.com or in the app and check which controls are available. Target says options depend on the order’s status; some are available only before processing or shipping. See Target’s order-change guidance.

Target Help has separate routes for subjects such as pickup and delivery, Target Circle, payments, gift cards, and technical support. Choose the closest topic and follow its self-service steps or contact instructions rather than assuming a returns number covers every department. Contact details and available channels can change, so confirm them on the relevant official Target Help page when you need assistance.
