What the $4,199 Honda Dax price includes
The $4,199 figure is Honda’s base manufacturer’s suggested retail price for the 2026 Dax 125. It is not an out-the-door price. Honda’s page adds a $300 destination charge and displays a $4,499 total MSRP.

Is the Dax 125 available in the United States?
Yes. American Honda announced the Dax for the 2025 model year, and launch coverage reported expected U.S. dealer availability in October 2024. That “finally goes on sale” wording describes the 2024 launch period, not a new 2026 release. Honda now lists the 2026 Dax 125 on its U.S. site.

Honda’s 2026 specification sheet identifies the Dax as a miniMOTO motorcycle with the following equipment. Honda notes that the listed specifications are preliminary and subject to change.

The advertised price is only the starting point for a purchase budget. Before visiting a dealer, ask for these items separately:
- Destination and any freight or handling amount beyond Honda’s listed $300 charge.
- Sales or use tax based on your jurisdiction.
- Title, registration and plate fees.
- Dealer documentation, setup or assembly charges.
- Financing costs, if you borrow rather than pay cash.
- Insurance, safety gear, fuel and routine maintenance after purchase.
Comparing dealers on the final written total—not only the $4,199 headline—helps prevent a low advertised price from masking additional fees.

Features and accessories
The Dax combines a small-displacement engine with a four-speed semi-automatic transmission, so it does not use a conventional manual clutch lever. Honda lists front-wheel ABS, which is a specific safety feature to confirm on the model you are buying.
Honda names a rear carrier, a saddlebag and mounting kit, and a USB charging port as available accessories. The product information does not state current U.S. accessory prices or part numbers. Ask a dealer to confirm availability, fitment and installed cost for your model year.

Honda’s 2026 specification sheet lists a transferable one-year limited factory warranty and says optional HondaCare protection is available. Coverage details, exclusions and pricing should be verified in Honda’s current plan documents and with the selling dealer.
