GoDaddy Black Friday Deals 2025: What the “Up to 60% Off” Claim Means

The GoDaddy Black Friday 2025 promotion has passed, and its “up to 60%” claim is not confirmed by the reviewed official material. Check term, renewal price and exclusions before buying.

GoDaddy’s Black Friday 2025 promotion is over, and the reviewed official material does not confirm the campaign’s dates, eligible products, regional prices or advertised “up to 60%” discount. Treat that figure as unverified, not as a confirmed global offer. If you bought—or are considering buying—a GoDaddy service, the practical question is the full cost: what the introductory term covers, what renewals cost and which exclusions apply.

Was GoDaddy’s Black Friday 2025 deal really up to 60% off?

The exact 2025 campaign behind that claim could not be verified in the official GoDaddy material reviewed. That means there is no substantiated basis here to identify the promotion’s dates, eligible services, participating markets or discount calculation. A secondary source reported a ₹99 domain offer and hosting discounts in India, but that does not establish a worldwide offer or verify the title’s percentage claim: [c006].

Keep a separate, ongoing GoDaddy offer distinct from the historical Black Friday claim: its Discount Domain Club information describes savings of up to 40%, 50% or 60%, depending on membership tier. That is a membership benefit, not evidence that Black Friday 2025 offered the same discount: [c003].

What to check before paying for a GoDaddy service

A large percentage discount can obscure the bill due now and the price due later. Check the offer terms and checkout details for the specific product, market and purchase rather than assuming one promotion applies to every domain or hosting plan.

  • Product and market: Confirm whether the offer is for domain registration, hosting, email or another service, and check the country and currency shown at checkout.
  • Initial term and upfront payment: Note how long the introductory price lasts and the total amount charged for that term.
  • Renewal price: GoDaddy’s general terms say discounted products generally renew at the then-current list price after the introductory term. Check the renewal price for your service before committing: [c001].
  • Eligibility and exclusions: Discounts generally apply to new purchases unless an offer says otherwise. General exclusions include taxes, ICANN fees, transfers and premium domains; the offer’s own terms determine what applies: [c001] [c002].
  • Total cost and fit: Compare what you will pay over the full term with the features you actually need. A headline percentage alone does not establish that a plan is the better value.

How current GoDaddy hosting prices fit into the picture

GoDaddy’s current hosting page displays introductory prices for an initial term and describes plan features such as WordPress hosting, storage, domain or email inclusion, and SSL on selected plans. Those are current, changeable details—not evidence of what GoDaddy charged during Black Friday 2025. Check the current price and renewal terms for your region directly on the plan page: [c004].

For domain registrations and renewals, GoDaddy’s general terms also say they are generally non-refundable under the applicable registration agreement. Review the terms for the specific domain before purchase: [c002].
