Equalizer Finance announced “Equalizer 2.0” on February 6, 2024, introducing a Meta Aggregator for multi-chain swaps and bridges and an Airdrop Explorer for finding and tracking airdrop opportunities. The launch described a non-custodial interface built on external DEX and bridge infrastructure, plus a research-and-strategy guide for airdrops. Those announcements confirm what Equalizer launched in 2024; they do not establish that the same interfaces, routes, fees or airdrop lists remain available in August 2026.
This distinction matters before connecting a wallet or transferring funds. Treat the products as a historical launch that requires current, first-party verification.
Verification date: The product descriptions below come from Equalizer and partner announcements published in February 2024. Current uptime, chain coverage, fees, audits and maintenance were not established by those materials.
What Equalizer launched
Meta Aggregator
The Meta Aggregator was presented as a single interface for swapping and bridging tokens across EVM networks. It was not described as a new blockchain, a centralized exchange or an exchange with its own liquidity pools. Instead, it aggregated routes from external decentralized exchanges, bridges and solver systems.

Equalizer marketed the interface as non-custodial: users connect a wallet and sign transactions themselves rather than depositing funds into an Equalizer trading account. Non-custodial access reduces custodial-deposit risk, but it does not remove smart-contract, bridge, approval, slippage or phishing risk.
Airdrop Explorer
The Airdrop Explorer was described as an airdrop-finding and strategy product. Equalizer said it would identify potentially rewarding campaigns, explain participation strategies, provide step-by-step instructions and let users track completed airdrops. The launch release linked to airdrop.equalizer.finance.
Flash loans were an existing product
Equalizer continued to offer flash loans, but the launch did not introduce them as one of the two new services. Flash loans are generally aimed at developers and advanced DeFi users who can execute atomic, over-collateral-free transactions; they are not a normal retail borrowing facility.
How the Meta Aggregator was intended to work
A typical cross-chain transaction would follow this sequence:

- Connect a compatible self-custody wallet.
- Select the source chain and token.
- Select the destination chain and token.
- Let the aggregator search available DEX and bridge routes.
- Compare the quoted destination amount, price impact, estimated time and fees.
- Approve the source token if the route requires an approval transaction.
- Sign the swap, bridge or combined transaction in the wallet.
- Wait for settlement on the destination chain and confirm the received asset.
“One-click” multi-chain swapping does not mean one signature or a free transfer. Depending on the route, users may need token approvals, source-chain gas, destination-chain gas, bridge or relayer charges, and additional signatures. A quote can also expire before the transaction is confirmed.
The advertised gas function
Equalizer’s launch description included a gas-transfer function intended to help users obtain the native gas token needed on another network. This addresses a common problem: a token can arrive successfully while the wallet lacks the destination chain’s native asset for the next transaction.
- Gas assistance is not free gas; network, bridge, DEX, solver or platform charges may still apply.
- The gas transfer may involve its own route and transaction.
- Check the destination network and token before signing.
- If a transfer stalls, funds may remain on the origin chain, be in bridge settlement or have arrived without appearing automatically in the wallet.
The available launch sources do not establish a current fee schedule or the exact present-day interface for this function.
What LI.FI contributed
LI.FI said its routing infrastructure powered Equalizer’s Meta Aggregator. Its February 15, 2024 announcement described cross-chain swaps across 15-plus chains and routing through multiple bridges, DEXs, aggregators and solver systems. It cited examples including Ethereum, BNB Chain, Arbitrum, Polygon, Optimism, Avalanche, Base, zkSync, Linea and Gnosis.

The same announcement referenced bridges such as Across, Allbridge, Circle CCTP, Connext, Hop and Stargate, and liquidity sources including Uniswap, 1inch, 0x, SushiSwap, Enso and Odos. These were infrastructure figures reported in February 2024, not a guarantee of Equalizer’s current coverage. Route availability changes with token pair, liquidity, bridge status, transaction size and chain conditions.

What the Airdrop Explorer could—and could not—tell you
An explorer or guide can organize information, but it cannot decide eligibility or guarantee a reward. A campaign may depend on:
- Snapshot dates and changing governance decisions.
- Geographic or regulatory restrictions.
- Minimum transactions, liquidity, holding periods or other thresholds.
- Sybil-detection rules that may exclude related wallets.
- Official claim windows and the correct token-contract address.
- Gas costs that exceed the eventual value of an allocation.
Use any listed project as a research lead, not as proof that the project is legitimate, active, profitable or officially endorsing the guide. Verify the project’s own domain, documentation, contract addresses and verified social accounts. Never treat a third-party explorer as the official claim portal.

Costs and risks to check before using a route
Smart-contract and approval risk
A route can involve several contracts. A malicious token, compromised protocol or excessive token approval can result in loss. Review the spender address and avoid unlimited approvals when a wallet or interface offers a smaller allowance.
Bridge risk
Bridging adds risks beyond a normal DEX swap: exploits, liquidity shortages, delayed finality, paused routes, wrapped-asset confusion and destination-chain transaction failures. A successful source transaction does not guarantee immediate usable funds on the destination chain.
Slippage and price impact
Aggregators search available liquidity but cannot guarantee the best execution after a quote changes. Large orders and illiquid tokens can receive materially less than the headline estimate. Compare the minimum received amount and price impact, not only the displayed fee.
Fee opacity
Before signing, identify source-chain gas, destination-chain gas, bridge fees, DEX fees, solver or relayer fees, token-approval costs and any platform charge. No current Equalizer fee schedule was verified in the launch materials.

Phishing and airdrop-farming risk
Airdrop hunters are frequent targets for fake claim pages and malicious signature requests. Confirm domains and contract addresses through the project itself. Do not disclose a seed phrase or private key to anyone claiming to provide support.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.A cautious historical walkthrough
If the official Equalizer interface is currently reachable, use this checklist rather than assuming the 2024 flow is unchanged.
Before starting
- Use a wallet compatible with both networks and keep native gas on the origin chain.
- Confirm the official Equalizer domain, application domain and token contract addresses.
- Determine how destination-chain gas will be obtained.
- Start with a small test amount.
- Review the route, estimated time, minimum received amount and total fees.
While signing
- Recheck source chain, destination chain and both token contracts.
- Inspect the named bridge, DEX or solver.
- Review slippage and price impact.
- Reject unexpected wallet calls or requests for unrelated approvals.
- Do not sign merely because a route is labeled “best.”
If a transfer fails or stalls
- Do not immediately submit repeated transactions.
- Check the source-chain transaction hash.
- Check the underlying route provider’s official status information.
- Determine whether funds stayed on the origin chain, entered bridge settlement or arrived on the destination chain.
- Add the destination token manually if the wallet does not display it.
- Use the provider’s official recovery process, never a person requesting your private keys.
Current Equalizer support menus, status pages and recovery documentation were not established by the launch sources, so verify those details directly before relying on them.
Who might benefit—and who should look elsewhere
| Situation | Why Equalizer’s model may help | Why another route may be better |
|---|---|---|
| Moving a stablecoin between major EVM chains | One interface can compare bridge and swap routes. | A direct bridge or exchange may offer clearer route-specific pricing. |
| Illiquid or newly launched tokens | Aggregation may reveal more than one liquidity source. | Quotes can have high price impact, limited liquidity or greater contract risk. |
| Large transactions | Several routes can be reviewed in one place. | Institutional or protocol-specific execution may produce better pricing and controls. |
| Airdrop research | Strategies and tracking can organize research. | Official project information remains the authority for eligibility and claims. |
| Need for independently documented current support | Historical launch materials explain the original design. | Use a service with current chain, fee, audit and maintenance information you can verify. |
“Any token on any chain” should be read as marketing shorthand, not a literal guarantee. The primary technical description focused on EVM networks; Solana support should not be assumed from the 2024 materials.

Bottom line for DeFi users
Equalizer’s 2024 launch addressed two practical problems: fragmented cross-chain liquidity and the difficulty of organizing airdrop research. The Meta Aggregator’s value depends on the live route, net amount received, bridge security, gas requirements and transparent fees—not the aggregator’s brand alone. The Airdrop Explorer is best treated as a starting point for independent verification, never as a reward guarantee. Check the current first-party interface and route details before connecting a wallet or sending funds.
