The available product information does not establish which face moisturizer is best or which one The Finance Base tested. It does, however, show clear differences in format, stated skin type and SPF: Bubble Level Up is positioned as a gel for oily skin, Bubble Slam Dunk as a cream for normal-to-dry skin, and RoC Barrier Renew AM as an SPF 30 moisturizer. Use those details to narrow your options, not as proof that one product works better.
What can be concluded about the four brands?
EltaMD, Bubble Skincare, innisfree and RoC all list face moisturizers on their official sites. The product descriptions provide useful information about intended users, textures and highlighted ingredients, but they are brand statements—not independent comparisons. No test results or identified product list establish which items were tested or how they performed. For that reason, this guide compares stated product details rather than naming a tested winner.

How to choose based on the details that matter
If you prefer a gel aimed at oily skin
Bubble Level Up is the clearest match in this group: Bubble describes it as a lightweight gel for oily skin and highlights niacinamide and zinc PCA. Those are formulation and positioning details, not evidence that it will control oil or suit every person with oily or acne-prone skin.
If you prefer a cream for normal-to-dry skin
Bubble positions Slam Dunk as a hydrating cream for normal-to-dry skin. innisfree’s collection offers creams as well as lighter gels and emulsions, so it may be worth comparing the current formats if texture is your main preference. Check each current product listing for its intended use and ingredients.

If fragrance status is a deciding factor
EltaMD labels AM Restore fragrance-free, and RoC describes Hydration+ as fragrance-free. The cited pages do not establish fragrance status for every other moisturizer in this comparison. If fragrance avoidance matters to you, verify the ingredient list on the current package rather than assuming that an unstated attribute means fragrance-free.
If you want moisturizer with SPF
RoC Barrier Renew AM is the only listed product explicitly labeled SPF 30, with four sunscreen active ingredients identified on its page. Treat the SPF label as a separate feature from moisturizing performance, and follow the directions on the product packaging when using it for sun protection.

What the product pages do—and do not—tell you
Brand pages can help you screen options by format, named ingredients, fragrance claims, routine directions and SPF labeling. They cannot establish which moisturizer performs best in a head-to-head comparison. RoC’s performance statements and EltaMD’s suitability claims remain manufacturer claims unless supported by independent evidence. Bubble’s page attributes a product recommendation to Dr. Marisa Garshick, identified there as a board-certified dermatologist; that recommendation is not a comparative finding.
Formulas and assortments can change. EltaMD specifically cautions that ingredient lists may change, and innisfree’s collection reflects a changing assortment. Confirm the current product name, package ingredients and directions before buying or using a moisturizer, especially if you are avoiding a particular ingredient.

How to make a practical choice
- Decide on texture and stated skin-type fit. Start with the brand’s positioning, such as Bubble Level Up’s gel format for oily skin or Slam Dunk’s cream for normal-to-dry skin.
- Check the features you specifically need. Compare current ingredient labels if you are screening for a formula detail, and look for an explicit fragrance-free statement if that matters to you.
- Separate moisturizer from sun protection. If you want SPF in the same product, RoC Barrier Renew AM is labeled SPF 30; check its package directions and do not infer that other moisturizers include sunscreen.
- Verify the exact current product. Product names, formulas and assortment can change, so match the listing to the package and current official product information.
