Effective October 1, 2026, Philadelphia-based Equify Advisors joined Elliott Davis, adding approximately 36 professionals and expanding the firm’s Digital Consulting work in business systems, ERP, NetSuite and advanced analytics. The firms did not disclose financial terms.

What Equify Advisors adds to Elliott Davis

Equify is described as a NetSuite Alliance Partner focused on business systems consulting and advanced analytics. Its work includes implementing and optimizing business systems. Elliott Davis says the addition will broaden its ability to help clients implement and optimize technology investments and use data for decision support. The announcement describes the planned capability expansion; it does not establish post-combination results.

The combination also brings an announced approximately 36 professionals to Elliott Davis. That figure is from the transaction announcement, not an independently verified current headcount. The companies did not report comparable revenue, valuation or deal-price figures.

Who will lead the expanded practices?

  • Taylor Kopnitsky, Equify co-founder, will lead Business Systems Consulting.
  • Ben Washburne, Equify co-founder, will lead Advanced Analytics.

Elliott Davis Advisory CEO John Otten called the addition an important step in growing the firm’s Digital Consulting practice. Consulting practice leader Jeff Walker said Equify’s expertise complements existing strengths and that its culture aligns with Elliott Davis. Kopnitsky and Washburne described their client-partnership approach to systems and analytics as especially important in the age of AI. These are statements from the transaction announcement, not evidence of measured integration outcomes.

What is known about the deal’s terms?

The announced effective date is October 1, 2026. No purchase price or other financial terms were disclosed in the company and adviser announcement. Envoy Capital Advisors identifies itself as Equify’s exclusive sell-side adviser.

CPA Practice Advisor reported that this was Elliott Davis’s first M&A transaction of 2026 and its first since receiving outside capital from private-equity investor Flexpoint Ford in June 2025. That sequencing is industry reporting, rather than a detail stated in the transaction announcement.
