As of August 18, 2026, the available evidence does not independently verify a live Clardun protocol, a public testnet, deployed contracts, an audit, or a clearly identified organization. Treat the sale as an unverified, high-risk crypto presale until those basics can be confirmed.
What Clardun says it is
The promotional announcement says Clardun is raising funds for an exchange built around a “Dynamic Reserve Pool” and a CLD token. The description appears in a TechBullion article and a substantially similar MEXC-syndicated version, so both are promotional sources rather than independent product verification: TechBullion announcement and MEXC version.
Dynamic Reserve Pool
In the proposed model, multiple reserve providers quote rates. A smart contract is intended to select a reserve, exchange the assets, and settle both sides in one transaction. A related Carddun whitepaper describes reserve managers, reserve entities, public and private reserves, and non-custodial execution: Carddun whitepaper.
Atomic swaps and payment APIs
The announcement says a swap either completes atomically or reverts, and that a payment API could let a merchant receive one token while a customer pays with another. It also describes contract-wallet compatibility intended to help existing contracts work with supported tokens. These are design claims, not evidence that a working implementation exists.

CLD utility and roadmap claims
The article says reserves would need to hold CLD, that part of collected fees would be burned, and that wallet integrations and additional financial products were planned. It listed a June 2026 testnet and a September 2026 mainnet. The available material does not establish that the June testnet occurred or that the September date remains on schedule.
What is actually verifiable
A page at invest.clardun.com/register exposes an account-creation form, but the indexed material does not provide enough information to verify a token contract, vesting schedule, sale terms, legal entity, treasury wallet, audit, or refund policy.
A Coinscope directory entry reports a stated 5 million USDT soft cap and 55 million USDT hard cap: Coinscope Clardun listing. A directory listing is not proof that those funds were raised or that the sale wallets belong to a legitimate organization.

Recommended Free Tools
- A live Clardun testnet or mainnet.
- A public GitHub repository attributable to the project.
- A verifiable CLD contract address unambiguously tied to Clardun.
- An independent audit covering deployed bytecode.
- Confirmed exchange listings, liquidity, presale proceeds, or token-holder numbers.
- The identity, employment history, or corporate authority of the named team.
The identity problem: Clardun, Carddun and similar names
The most serious documentation issue is that several near-identical names appear with overlapping language but different descriptions. The available evidence does not establish that they are one company, one token, or one development team.
| Name or source | What it describes | What remains unclear |
|---|---|---|
| Clardun announcement | Presale for a reserve-based, non-custodial exchange and CLD token | Official legal entity, code, deployment and contract address |
| Clardun registration page | Account creation for a “blockchain-enabled worldwide open-source purchasing platform” | Whether it is the same product described in the announcement |
| Carddun | Whitepaper covering dynamic reserves, reserve managers and atomic settlement | Relationship to Clardun and ownership of the document |
| Clardven | E-commerce, payments, wallet, card and banking claims; references KDN and CLD | Whether it is affiliated with Clardun |
| Kaarden and Kladween | Whitepapers using similar reserve and contract-wallet concepts | Whether the overlap reflects shared authorship, copying or coincidence |
Review the relevant materials directly: Clardven, Kaarden whitepaper and Kladween whitepaper. Do not combine their prices, token supplies, bonuses or roadmaps into a single Clardun profile. A similarly named sale page at buy-cladven.com advertises different figures, which reinforces the need to verify the exact domain and contract before signing anything.

What atomic settlement can—and cannot—solve
Atomic execution can reduce the risk that one side of a swap settles while the other side fails. A reverted transaction can also prevent a partial exchange. But “atomic” and “non-custodial” do not make a protocol automatically safe.
- Buggy or malicious smart-contract code can still lose funds.
- Stale or manipulated rates can produce a bad trade.
- Low liquidity can make a quoted rate unavailable or economically unattractive.
- Sandwich attacks, congestion, gas costs and failed transactions remain possible.
- A malicious token can impose transfer taxes, blacklists, freezes or hidden minting.
- Unlimited approvals, a compromised front end or a phishing domain can drain a wallet.
- Owner, operator, upgrade or pause privileges can create centralization and governance risk.
- Price movement can cause economic loss before a transaction confirms.
The announcement’s “incapable of stealing” and “no slippage surprises” language therefore requires substantial qualification. A displayed quote or minimum-output setting is not proof that the rate will remain available until execution.
Reserve-provider and market-structure risks
A reserve model moves some risk from a centralized exchange to reserve participants, rate managers and the protocol’s selection logic. Before relying on the design, a reader should obtain clear answers to these questions:

- Who supplies initial reserves, and are they overcollateralized?
- Can a reserve manager withdraw liquidity at any time?
- How does the contract compare rates and reject stale quotes?
- Who can list or delist tokens, freeze trading or change parameters?
- What happens when only one reserve supports a pair?
- How are depegs, bad pricing and manipulation detected?
- Are reserve and operator roles permissionless, multisig-controlled or centrally administered?
More components—reserve contracts, rate managers, token adapters and payment APIs—may improve functionality, but each adds code and permissions that require review.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Roadmap status as of August 18, 2026
The published roadmap treated June 2026 testnet and September 2026 mainnet as planned milestones. The material available for this assessment does not show a public testnet explorer, reproducible demo, confirmed deployment transaction or evidence that the June milestone occurred. September should therefore be treated as an unconfirmed target, not a launch fact.
Wallet integrations named in the announcement, including MyEtherWallet, Status and Jaxx, are also future-facing claims unless the relevant provider publishes an independent confirmation. A logo or compatibility statement on a sale page is not an endorsement.

Due-diligence checklist before any presale transaction
Do not connect a valuable wallet or transfer funds until the project can supply independently checkable evidence:
- Identity: one official domain, a legal issuer, jurisdiction, named responsible individuals and consistent terminology.
- Contract: the exact chain, token and presale contract addresses, with source code verified on a public explorer.
- Security: a named audit report tied to the deployed bytecode, including unresolved findings; disclosed owner, upgrade, pause, mint and blacklist permissions.
- Economics: total supply, sale allocation, vesting, team and treasury allocations, liquidity allocation, treatment of unsold tokens and whether CLD is transferable.
- Treasury: presale wallet history and multisignature controls, such as a documented Safe setup where appropriate: Safe.
- Product: a public testnet or mainnet, explorer links, source repository, build instructions and transactions that anyone can reproduce.
- Legal terms: sale restrictions, KYC/AML requirements, refund rights, risk disclosures and treatment of U.S. or other restricted participants.
How to reduce wallet and transaction risk
- Use a separate, low-balance wallet if participation is lawful and personally appropriate.
- Verify the chain and contract address from independent sources; do not rely on direct messages, social posts or copied logos.
- Inspect transaction data and avoid unlimited token approvals.
- Confirm whether the sale requires a contract interaction or a direct transfer, and identify the recipient before signing.
- Revoke unused approvals after interacting with any site, but recognize that revocation cannot recover funds already transferred.
- Treat countdowns, “final call” notices, bonuses and limited-allocation language as marketing rather than proof of legitimacy.
For an EVM contract, an explorer such as Etherscan can show verified source status, holders and transaction history when the deployment is on a supported network. Explorer visibility alone does not prove that the contract is safe.
How the claimed benefits compare with the trade-offs
| Claimed advantage | Limitation or dependency |
|---|---|
| Atomic, single-transaction settlement | Still depends on chain confirmation, gas, contract correctness and available liquidity. |
| Competing reserve rates | Requires multiple active reserves, reliable quote comparison and protection against stale prices. |
| Non-custodial design | Does not remove front-end, approval, token-contract, admin-key or upgrade risks. |
| Payment API for cross-token payments | Merchants and users remain exposed to volatility, fees and conversion quality. |
| CLD fee burns or required holdings | Utility and burns do not establish demand, liquidity or future token value. |
Bottom line for prospective participants
Clardun may describe a technically plausible reserve-based exchange design, but the available evidence does not establish that the protocol is operating, that the similarly named documents belong to one organization, or that a CLD presale contract is genuine and secure. Do not treat syndicated coverage, directory caps, countdowns, bonuses or a presale price as proof of deployment or future value. Until identity, code, contract addresses, audit coverage, treasury controls, legal terms and a working public product are independently verified, the prudent decision is to avoid sending funds or approving token spending.
