Capology estimates Chelsea’s 2026–27 first-team fixed wage bill at £3.55 million a week (£184.6 million a year), excluding bonuses. Its highest listed fixed earner is Morgan Rogers, at an estimated gross £280,000 a week. These are estimates, not official player salary disclosures. The figures below are the named salaries available in the source excerpt, not a complete player-by-player list. Figures are current to Capology’s September 22, 2026 update.

What are Chelsea’s estimated wages for 2026–27?

Capology’s Chelsea salary page gives a first-team fixed wage bill of £3,550,000 per week, or £184,600,000 annualized, for the 2026–27 season. The figures are gross estimates and exclude bonuses. The page was updated September 22, 2026, so treat them as a dated snapshot rather than a guarantee that salaries or squad status have remained unchanged.

See Capology’s Chelsea 2026–27 salary table for the provider’s full current list and its player-status labels.

Player Estimated gross fixed wage per week Annualized fixed wage
Morgan Rogers £280,000 £14,560,000
Moisés Caicedo £250,000 £13,000,000
Reece James £230,000 £11,960,000
Wesley Fofana £220,000 £11,440,000
Cole Palmer £220,000 £11,440,000

These annual amounts are weekly figures multiplied across 52 weeks; they are not separate reports of cash actually paid during a calendar year. The provider’s current table is the place to check additional players and any changes to the values or status labels.

What does “wage” mean in this table?

Capology defines estimated fixed salary as guaranteed annual pay, excluding image rights, commercial deals, bonuses and other benefits. Estimated bonuses and total compensation are separate figures when provided; incentives can depend on individual performance, signing terms or team results, and historical bonus coverage may be incomplete.

Capology states: “All salaries are estimates and do not represent official figures.” It says verified entries rely on public reporting and/or sources close to the provider. Other figures may be algorithmic estimates based on club personnel costs in financial statements or UEFA publications, or may draw on reporting that has not been fully confirmed. Its verification and status labels therefore matter as much as the headline number.

A club’s official personnel-cost total is not interchangeable with the player estimates above. Financial statements and UEFA disclosures can include senior and youth players, women’s teams, administrative staff, social security and pension contributions, and severance payments—costs outside Capology’s player-wage estimates.

How loans and squad changes affect “every player”

“Every Chelsea player” can mean contracted players, the registered first-team squad, or everyone in a salary database. Those are not identical groups. Capology may mark players as inactive if their contract has ended or they are out on loan; for loaned players, it may show multiple estimates reflecting a wage split between the former and current clubs. Read the table’s season and status labels before treating an entry as a current Chelsea first-team salary.

Chelsea’s summer 2026 update says Benoit Badiashile joined Napoli on loan for the season and Marc Guiu moved permanently to RB Leipzig. It also reports new or first professional contracts for academy players. These moves make the distinction between a database listing and a current first-team roster especially important. Chelsea’s official update is available here.

A Premier League squad list can help establish senior registration context, but it does not disclose wages and does not resolve every academy or loan-status question. The available official list is for 2025–26, not a current 2026–27 roster snapshot.

Does Chelsea’s squad-cost ratio reveal player salaries?

No. Chelsea said on June 30, 2026 that its squad-cost ratio for calendar 2025 narrowly exceeded UEFA’s 70% threshold. That is an aggregate compliance measure, not a salary list, and it cannot be used to calculate any individual player’s wages. See the club statement.
