How much did Snow White make opening weekend?
The Associated Press reported an estimated $43 million domestic for Snow White from Friday through Sunday, March 21–23, 2025. AP’s chart cited estimated ticket sales according to Comscore and said final domestic figures were expected Monday. Read the AP weekend chart.
That is the contemporaneous estimate, not a claim about the film’s lifetime earnings. A later retrospective from No Bad Movie lists the opening weekend at $42,206,415; that more precise figure is a retrospective report and should not be substituted for AP’s original estimate without noting the difference. How did Novocaine and Mickey 17 do?
Both films were already in release, and each took in less than $4 million domestically over the same weekend. The figures below are AP’s estimated Friday–Sunday ticket sales for the U.S. and Canada market.

What was Snow White’s worldwide opening?
Variety reported Snow White’s international opening at $44.3 million and its worldwide opening at $87.3 million. These are opening-weekend figures reported by Variety, not current lifetime totals. Variety’s box-office report.

The available figures do not establish equivalent worldwide weekend totals for Novocaine or Mickey 17, so their domestic weekend results should not be compared with Snow White’s worldwide number.
Why opening weekend and total gross are different measures
An opening-weekend figure covers a film’s initial Friday–Sunday frame; a cumulative gross adds ticket sales across its run. Database schedule values and later retrospective totals are also distinct measures, not interchangeable versions of the same weekend estimate.

What the weekend figures say—and what they do not
Snow White was the clear domestic weekend leader among these three titles, opening at an AP-estimated $43 million while the two holdovers each earned under $4 million. That comparison answers how the films performed in the U.S. and Canada on March 21–23; it does not by itself describe their complete theatrical runs or establish comparable worldwide results for all three.
