Black Friday 2025 has passed, so the prices and discounts below are historical examples—not offers to buy at today. The early-sale announcements covered PlayStation consoles, games and accessories; Xbox and PC games; and Nintendo-related products listed by Amazon. For any current purchase, verify the live price, seller, stock, bundle, shipping and return terms before paying.
What the early Black Friday 2025 sales included
Sony said its PlayStation promotion would begin November 21, 2025, for a limited time. Offers varied by region and retailer and covered consoles, games, accessories, PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Gear merchandise. The announcements below describe what was advertised, not what every retailer actually stocked or charged. Sony’s announcement is the primary source for its offer terms.
Xbox Wire’s November 20, 2025, post described its deals as US-only and said offers could vary by market and retailer. Amazon’s US Black Friday Week roundup said the event ran through November 28. Those dates and terms are historical; they do not establish current availability.
PlayStation: console, game and accessory offers
Console bundles and reported retailer listings
Sony announced recommended US prices of $399.99 for a PS5 Digital Edition 825GB Fortnite Flowering Chaos Bundle and $449.99 for a PS5 1TB Fortnite Flowering Chaos Bundle. These were recommended prices for those bundles—not proof of a retailer’s price or a measure of savings against another configuration. Sony separately said buyers in select regions could save $100 on PS5 consoles, PS5 Digital Edition consoles and PS5 Pro. Regional availability varied. Sony’s 2025 offer announcement lists both categories.

In contemporary sale coverage, Tom’s Guide recorded Amazon listings of $649 for PS5 Pro and $449 for PS5 Slim, while Walmart listed PS5 Slim Digital at $399. These are dated retail snapshots reported during the 2025 sale, not current prices. The model and configuration matter: a bundle’s recommended price, a retailer listing and a discount claim are different comparisons. Tom’s Guide’s sale coverage also recorded a PSVR 2 Horizon Bundle at $299, PlayStation Portal at $178 and DualSense controller at $54 at Amazon.
Accessories, games and subscriptions
Sony’s announcement listed these historical accessory discounts:

| DualSense Edge | $30 off |

| Access controller | $20 off |
These were examples in Sony’s 2025 promotion; local prices and availability depended on region and retailer. Sony named Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, Lost Soul Aside, Astro Bot and God of War Ragnarök as discounted PS5 games, and said PlayStation Store would offer hundreds of PS5 and PS4 digital games at up to 75% off. The maximum applied to select games, not every title. Sony’s announcement has the promotion details.
Sony also said qualifying new PlayStation Plus members in participating countries could save up to 33% on a 12-month membership. Existing Essential or Extra members upgrading to Premium or Deluxe could save 33% on the remainder of their membership. Eligibility varied by country and plan; subscriptions renewed automatically at then-current pricing unless cancelled. These were 2025 terms, not current subscription guidance. Xbox Wire’s November 20, 2025, post advertised discounts of up to 75% on select Xbox games and up to 85% on select PC games, plus discounts on select Xbox wireless accessories. The post said more than 2,000 games were included, but discounts varied by title. Its named examples included:
- Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Deluxe Edition: 20% off.
- Doom: The Dark Ages Premium Edition: 50% off.
- Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: 30% off.
- EA Sports FC 26: 50% off.
- Assassin’s Creed Shadows: 40% off.
The post described these as US Black Friday deals and noted market and retailer variation. A discount on one edition or platform should not be assumed to apply to another. Xbox Wire’s 2025 announcement gives the examples and scope.

Xbox also advertised an introductory Game Pass price of 14 days for $1 for eligible new subscribers, followed by $14.99 per month unless cancelled, subject to terms. Those prices and eligibility conditions were historical. The same post described a Meta Quest 3S offer bundling Batman: Arkham Shadow and Beat Saber for $249.99 for Game Pass subscribers in select regions from November 20 through December 31, 2025. This was a limited regional bundle, not a general Xbox console discount. Xbox Wire published the offer terms.

Amazon’s US Black Friday Week roundup listed up to 50% off select Nintendo games and up to 44% off PowerA Joy-Con Comfort Grips for Nintendo Switch. The roundup said Black Friday Week ran through November 28, 2025. “Up to” describes a maximum on selected items, not a discount available across the full Nintendo catalogue. These were offers listed by Amazon; they should not be described as an official Nintendo promotion. Amazon’s roundup also included a Fire TV Stick 4K Plus with controller offer for playing games through Amazon Luna, a cloud-gaming device deal rather than a console game discount.

How to compare a game or console deal
A large percentage off does not by itself show that an offer is the best value. Compare the exact item and terms before deciding:
- Match the console model and configuration. Check storage, disc drive and edition; a PS5 Slim Digital listing is not interchangeable with a PS5 bundle or PS5 Pro.
- Read the bundle contents. Confirm which game or accessory is included and whether the game is a physical copy or a digital code.
- Match the game’s platform and edition. Discounts can differ between Xbox, PC and PlayStation, and between standard and deluxe or premium editions.
- Compare like with like. A digital-store discount and a retailer’s price for a physical copy may have different editions, delivery costs or return conditions.
- Check the reference price. Distinguish a stated recommended price from a documented previous selling price; a discount percentage is only as useful as its comparison point.
- Confirm dates and eligibility. Offers can be time-limited, regional, retailer-specific or restricted to new subscribers.
- Review the checkout terms. Verify seller, stock, shipping, return policy and any subscription renewal before purchase.
Sony and Xbox both warned that offers varied by region, retailer or market, so a historical headline discount should not be treated as a guaranteed local price. Sony and Xbox Wire stated those qualifications in their announcements.
