Best deal by type of shopper
Best cheap AirPods deal: AirPods 4
Choose AirPods 4 when you want the current H2-based model, USB-C charging and an open fit at the lowest normal price. Apple lists Personalized Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking, Voice Isolation, IP54 dust, sweat and water resistance, up to five hours of listening per charge and up to 30 hours with the case. IP54 is resistance, not waterproofing; do not submerge them or charge them while wet. Specifications and test conditions are detailed by Apple and Apple Support.

#1 Best Overall
- REBUILT FOR COMFORT — AirPods 4 have been redesigned for exceptional all-day comfort and greater stability. With a refined contour, shorter stem, and quick-press controls for music or calls.
- PERSONALIZED SPATIAL AUDIO — Personalized Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking places sound all around you, creating a theater-like listening experience for music, TV shows, movies, games, and more.*
- IMPROVED SOUND AND CALL QUALITY — AirPods 4 feature the Apple-designed H2 chip. Voice Isolation improves the quality of phone calls in loud conditions. Using advanced computational audio, it reduces background noise while isolating and clarifying the sound of your voice for whomever you’re speaking to.*
- MAGICAL EXPERIENCE — Just say “Siri” or “Hey Siri” to play a song, make a call, or check your schedule.* And with Siri Interactions, now you can respond to Siri by simply nodding your head yes or shaking your head no.* Pair AirPods 4 by simply placing them near your device and tapping Connect on your screen.* Easily share a song or show between two sets of AirPods.* An optical in-ear sensor knows to play audio only when you’re wearing AirPods and pauses when you take them off. And you can track down your AirPods and Charging Case with the Find My app.*
- LONG BATTERY LIFE — Get up to 5 hours of listening time on a single charge. And get up to 30 hours of total listening time using the case.*
Skip this model if you need active noise cancellation, strong passive isolation or silicone tips. The open design can let outside sound in and may leak more sound than a sealed in-ear model.
Best overall value: AirPods 4 with ANC
AirPods 4 with ANC add Active Noise Cancellation, Adaptive Audio, Transparency mode, Conversation Awareness, a wireless-charging case and a Find My speaker. They retain the open-style fit, so ANC performance and isolation will not match an in-ear Pro model for every listener. A price near $120 or below would make this the strongest all-round value for many shoppers.
Best for travel and workouts: AirPods Pro 3
AirPods Pro 3 use silicone tips to create an in-ear seal and add stronger noise cancellation, Adaptive Audio, Transparency mode and heart-rate sensing during workouts. Apple also lists Hearing Test, Hearing Aid and Hearing Protection features where supported. Those hearing functions depend on region, regulatory authorization, compatible hardware and software. A price around $180 or less would be a historically strong deal.
Rank #2
- WORLD’S BEST IN-EAR ACTIVE NOISE CANCELLATION — Removes up to 2x more unwanted noise than AirPods Pro 2* so you can stay fully immersed in the moment.*
- BREAKTHROUGH AUDIO PERFORMANCE — Experience breathtaking, three-dimensional audio with AirPods Pro 3. A new acoustic architecture delivers transformed bass, detailed clarity so you can hear every instrument, and stunningly vivid vocals.
- HEART RATE SENSING — Built-in heart rate sensing lets you track your heart rate and calories burned for up to 50 different workout types.* With iPhone, you will have access to the Move ring, step count, and the new Workout Buddy,* powered by Apple Intelligence.*
- LIVE TRANSLATION — Communicate across language barriers using Live Translation,* enabled by Apple Intelligence.*
- EXTENDED BATTERY LIFE — Get up to 8 hours of listening time with Active Noise Cancellation on a single charge. Or up to 10 hours in Transparency using the Hearing Aid feature.*
Choose Pro 3 over AirPods 4 ANC when you value maximum isolation, a secure sealed fit or the additional health and hearing features. Choose the open model when silicone tips feel uncomfortable or you prefer awareness of your surroundings.

Best over-ear option: AirPods Max 2
AirPods Max 2 are the current model listed at $549. They use an H2 chip and offer Adaptive Audio, Transparency mode, Personalized Spatial Audio, lossless and ultra-low-latency audio over USB-C, and up to 20 hours with ANC under Apple’s stated conditions. Do not compare a discount on Max 2 with an older Lightning AirPods Max without naming the generation and connector. Apple’s model-identification guide is at Apple Support.
Historical 2025 prices: useful benchmarks, not 2026 deals
NBC Select reported approximately $79–$85 for AirPods 4, about $113.99 to $139.99 for AirPods 4 with ANC, and about $179–$180 for AirPods Pro 3 during 2025 holiday promotions. AirPods Max discounts covered different generations and connectors. These figures are historical only; see the NBC Select 2025 coverage. A separate Laptop Mag historical page includes older models and should not be treated as a live price source.

Amazon vs. Best Buy vs. Target
Amazon
- Often has the lowest headline price and broadest selection.
- Check whether the item is sold by Amazon or a reputable authorized seller; “fulfilled by Amazon” alone does not identify the seller.
- Confirm new condition, exact generation, USB-C or Lightning case, warranty and return terms. Exclude renewed, used, imported or marketplace listings from a new-product comparison.
- Prices can vary by color and change rapidly. Start at Amazon’s AirPods search, then open the exact SKU.
Best Buy
- Store pickup and a retailer-backed return process can outweigh a small price difference.
- Separate new, open-box, refurbished and clearance inventory. Open-box prices are not new-deal prices.
- Check membership, trade-in, bundle or payment-method requirements before calling a price final.
- Use Best Buy’s AirPods listings and verify the product condition.
Target
- Target Circle discounts, coupons and gift-card promotions may improve the effective value.
- Show the cash price and gift-card amount separately; store credit is conditional on shopping at Target again and may have restrictions.
- Pickup inventory can differ from shipping inventory. Check whether a marketplace or third-party seller is involved.
- Browse Target’s AirPods search.
How to calculate the real best deal
- Compare the final price before tax, including shipping.
- Confirm the exact model, generation, connector and charging case.
- Verify seller identity and that the condition is new if you are comparing new deals.
- Check delivery date, local pickup, return window, holiday extension, gift receipt and any restocking rule. Opened earbuds may have different return treatment.
- Record warranty coverage and whether AppleCare+ is offered at checkout; do not assume either is included.
- Apply membership, coupon, payment and gift-card conditions. Label any gift-card subtraction as a conditional effective price.
- Check price history for the exact SKU and color. A crossed-out list price is not proof of an all-time low.
- Use the model’s fit and features as a tie-breaker. A $179 Pro 3 is not automatically better value than a $120 AirPods 4 ANC if you dislike silicone tips.
Traps that make a cheap listing a bad purchase
Old generations and connector confusion
AirPods 3, AirPods 2, AirPods Pro 2 and first-generation AirPods Max may still appear in search results. AirPods 4 use USB-C; older generations may use Lightning. AirPods Pro 2 are not equivalent to Pro 3, and Lightning Max pricing does not describe Max 2.
Marketplace, renewed and counterfeit risk
Before paying, inspect the seller name, condition, serial-number or warranty information where available, return policy, packaging and regional SKU. A low price is not useful if the product was previously activated, lacks accessories, is counterfeit or is difficult to return.
Expired or blended holiday prices
Black Friday, Cyber Monday and extended-sale prices are often reported together. Label every listing as live, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, extended sale, historical or expired, and show an absolute “last checked” date such as “Price checked November 30, 2026.”
Rank #4
- Automatically on, automatically connected
- Easy setup for all your Apple devices
- Quick access to Siri by saying “Hey Siri”
- Double-tap to play or skip forward
- New Apple H1 headphone chip delivers faster wireless connection to your devices
Compatibility and feature limits
AirPods pair with Android as Bluetooth headphones, but Apple-only ecosystem features are reduced or unavailable. iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch and Apple TV users generally receive the deepest integration. Live Translation requires supported languages and regions, an Apple Intelligence-enabled iPhone and required software; it is not a standalone AirPods capability.
Battery figures are Apple estimates under stated test conditions and vary with volume, ANC and features. Hearing functions also depend on location, eligibility, software and regulatory availability.

- Confirm the exact current model and SKU rather than relying on a product-family name.
- Compare Amazon, Best Buy and Target on cash price, seller, condition, fulfillment and returns.
- Save a screenshot or timestamp because stock, colors and marketplace sellers can change during the day.
- For gifts, verify the holiday return deadline, opened-earbud rules and gift-receipt option before ordering.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are AirPods cheaper on Cyber Monday than Black Friday?
Not reliably. Retailers often run overlapping or extended promotions, so compare the dated price and exact SKU rather than assuming Cyber Monday is lower.
Best Value
- Active Noise Cancellation blocks outside noise, so you can immerse yourself in music
- Transparency mode for hearing and interacting with the world around you
- Spatial audio with dynamic head tracking places sound all around you
- Adaptive EQ automatically tunes music to your ears
- Three sizes of soft, tapered silicone tips for a customizable fit
Can Android users use AirPods?
Yes, for basic Bluetooth audio, but Apple ecosystem features and some newer functions may be limited or unavailable.
Do AirPods deals include AppleCare+?
Usually not automatically. Check the exact checkout offer and AppleCare+ eligibility for the model you buy.
The Bottom Line
There is no verified 2026 Cyber Monday AirPods deal yet. On November 30, favor a new, current-generation listing from a clearly identified seller: about $90 for AirPods 4, $120 for AirPods 4 ANC or $180 for AirPods Pro 3 would be compelling historical-level pricing, while AirPods Max 2 should simply be meaningfully below $549.
