ASPscripts Cheque Printing Software: What Buyers Can Verify

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

ASPscriptsOnline’s catalog lists “Cheque Printing Software,” so the product is real as a vendor listing. But the public information available does not establish its price, delivery format, supported banks, printer compatibility, or current maintenance status. Treat it as an option to investigate—not a verified, ready-to-use cheque printer—until the vendor confirms those details in writing.

What is ASPscripts Cheque Printing Software?

ASPscriptsOnline lists a product called “Cheque Printing Software” in its official product catalog. A third-party software directory also places Aspscriptsonline in its cheque-printing category, with pricing marked “Price On Request” (Techjockey’s category listing).

That confirms a listing, not what a buyer receives. ASPscriptsOnline describes a broader business focused on ready-made .NET software and source-code projects, including ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET, and database-backed products. Its overview of ERP source-code projects supports that marketplace context. It does not confirm that the cheque product itself is a web app, Windows program, source-code package, or module within an accounting system.

The distinction matters: a compiled application may be install-and-use software, while a source-code project can require developer tools, database setup, deployment, and customization. The available product listing does not settle which applies here.

What cheque-printing software normally does

Cheque-printing tools generally let a user enter payment details, position text on pre-printed cheque stationery, and print instead of handwriting the fields. Depending on the product, they may convert a numeric amount to words, retain issued-cheque records, support batch printing, or provide reports. These are category-level capabilities—not features verified for ASPscripts.

Printing accurately depends on more than the software. Cheque dimensions and field positions vary by bank and country; printer drivers, feed paths, and page-scaling settings can shift the output. A claim of support for “all banks” or “any printer” should be backed by templates or a layout editor and tested with the buyer’s actual cheque stock.

What is and is not documented

Question What the available sources establish
Does the product exist? The ASPscriptsOnline catalog lists “Cheque Printing Software.”
Who is the vendor? ASPscriptsOnline, whose broader catalog and company material describe .NET software and source-code projects.
Delivery format and technology Not stated for this product. Other vendor projects do not establish its framework or delivery method.
Price and purchase terms Not stated on the identified catalog listing. Techjockey shows “Price On Request.”
Supported banks, countries, and printers Not stated in the identified product information.
Features, security, and accounting integrations Not independently documented for this product.
Maintenance and support in 2026 Not established by the available product information.

Other ASPscriptsOnline product pages provide useful vendor-wide context, but not cheque-product specifications. For example, one ASP.NET CMS listing describes a one-time source-code purchase and gives examples of Windows, .NET Framework, Visual Studio, and database requirements. It also describes licensing and support terms for that product. Those details must not be assumed to apply to the cheque software.

Questions to get answered before paying

Ask the vendor for a product-specific specification, a demonstration, and the applicable license. The critical question is whether you are buying a ready-to-run application or a development project.

DocuGard Blue/Red Premier Prismatic Top High Security Check Paper - Laser/Inkjet Printer Compatible - 13 Security Features - 500 Blank Business Checks (04532)
  • DocuGard blue/red prismatic top business checks utilize 13 comprehensive security features recommended by the National Check Fraud Center and are ANSI compliant
  • Easily print professional, secure checks with Quicken, QuickBooks, Versacheck and other popular accounting and money management software packages
  • Checks are located at the top of the sheet (3.5” tall x 8.5” wide) and there are 2 horizontal perforations located at 3.5" and 7" from the top
  • Front security features include: Check-21 compliancy; hidden message technology (“VOID” appears when copied); a printed two-toned, prismatic background that shows alterations when erased; heat-sensitive ink that disappears when copied; and a printed security warning to call attention to the security features listing on the reverse side
  • Back security features include: security features listing for verification purposes; hidden message technology (“VOID” appears behind endorsement when copied); microtext printing which is legible when magnified, but illegible when copied; anti-splice backer that is difficult to alter; and a verification number and watermark that are printed in coin-reactive ink and can only be seen when viewed on an angle
  • What is delivered? An installer, compiled program, source code, database, hosted account, or some combination? Is Visual Studio, IIS, or database administration needed?
  • What does it run on? Ask for the supported Windows versions, .NET framework, database, and any server requirements. Confirm whether it can run offline and whether it works on the machines you actually use.
  • Will it print your cheques correctly? Request the supported countries and bank templates, or confirmation that you can create custom layouts. Verify cheque size, date format, currency wording, and printer feed direction against your own stationery.
  • Which printer functions are supported? Ask about your printer type, manual-feed tray, custom paper sizes, driver settings, and whether the software controls scaling.
  • What happens to records and mistakes? Confirm whether it tracks cheque numbers, users, print and reprint status, voids, approvals, and timestamps. Ask about backups and access controls.
  • Can it fit your accounting process? Verify any claimed Excel or CSV import, API, payroll, ERP, or accounting connection. Do not assume that source code means a supported integration is included.
  • What are the commercial terms? Get the total price, license scope, permitted modifications, redistribution restrictions, refund terms, installation charges, support period, and update policy in writing.

ASPscriptsOnline’s pathology-management product page is an example of another listing that describes support, update, installation, and encryption terms. It is not evidence of the cheque product’s terms; ask for the actual cheque-product agreement.

How to test a cheque-printing workflow safely

The steps below describe a standard cheque-printing procedure, not a verified ASPscripts user guide. Do not feed a real cheque leaf until the vendor confirms the software can create and save a suitable layout.

  • Professional Check Stock: 24 lb check stock paper suitable for payroll check paper, banking checks, routine accounting tasks and everyday office use
  1. Install or deploy the product according to its product-specific instructions.
  2. Set up the company and bank-account details, if the product supports those records.
  3. Select or create a layout matching the exact bank cheque stock.
  4. Enter the cheque number, date, payee, amount, and memo, if those fields are available.
  5. Check the amount in words, currency, date convention, and any account-payee or crossing text. Do not assume local numbering formats such as lakh and crore are supported.
  6. Print on plain paper at 100% scale. Disable “Fit to Page” or similar resizing in the application, browser, PDF viewer, or printer driver.
  7. Overlay the test sheet on an unused cheque leaf against a light source. Measure any horizontal or vertical offset and adjust the layout or printer settings.
  8. Repeat the plain-paper test until the fields align. Printer tolerances and feed paths can differ, so save a layout for the specific printer only if the software supports it.
  9. Print one cheque on actual stationery, then check alignment, spelling, date, amount, and cheque number before considering a batch.
  10. Record the issued cheque using the product’s tracking feature, if available. Obtain the required signature and authorization separately.

Risks to assess

Compatibility and maintenance

Some ASPscriptsOnline product pages list older baselines such as Windows 7, .NET Framework 4.0, Visual Studio 2013, or SQL Server 2008. Those are examples from other projects, not confirmed requirements for the cheque software. They do make it important to get the cheque product’s exact stack and current compatibility statement before relying on it for business payments.

Security and cheque controls

The available listing does not establish whether the product offers encryption, role-based access, approval steps, audit logs, duplicate-print prevention, or reprint and void tracking. If it stores payee and bank details, ask how the database is protected and backed up. A product’s ability to print a cheque does not by itself prove secure records or a controlled payment process.

Source-code and license risk

If the purchase includes source code, inspect the license before modifying or deploying it. Confirm whether commercial use is allowed, whether redistribution is restricted, and whether third-party components or dependencies are documented. ASPscriptsOnline’s other listings include license restrictions, so do not infer that modification or resale rights are automatic.

Banking compliance

Printing software cannot make a cheque bank-compliant on its own. Confirm with the bank that computer-printed entries and the intended stationery are acceptable, and check any applicable MICR, crossing, signature, and authorization requirements. Do not print on real cheque stock until the format has been tested and the bank’s requirements are clear.

Alternatives with more visible product information

These products publish more detail about their intended use than the ASPscripts listing does. Their feature and pricing claims are vendor-published; verify current terms and your exact bank format directly before buying.

Product Published positioning Best comparison point
ChequePro Desktop product advertising bank templates, custom layouts, amount-to-words conversion, batch printing, transaction records, and multi-user controls. Its page displayed a free tier and one-time plans of $99, $199, and $299 in the cited listing. Businesses wanting visible pricing and a ready-to-use product; confirm country and bank coverage.
Cheque Print Cloud-based service with a Windows download option, Indian-bank positioning, custom templates, and cheque history. The page advertises a seven-day trial and Windows 7, 8, 10, and 11 support; a paid price was not clearly exposed in the captured page. Indian businesses comparing hosted access with a Windows workflow.
ChequeGuru Indian cheque-printing product advertising more than 25 bank templates, amount-to-words conversion, batch printing, payment tracking, custom alignment, and a 15-day trial. Businesses prioritizing Indian bank templates; verify the exact bank and cheque version.
ChequePrinting.Net Enterprise-oriented product advertising batch printing, Excel import, customizable layouts, multiple chequebooks, roles, transaction limits, audit logs, and reports. Its page lists version 6.2.0 dated December 8, 2025, and a US$429 lifetime license. Organizations seeking controls and reporting; it may be more than occasional cheque printing requires.
Cheque Plus Windows desktop product advertising offline operation after activation, local data, visual alignment, and country-specific versions for the UAE, Algeria, and Saudi Arabia. Businesses whose regional cheque format is the main selection factor; country-specific pricing is on local pages.
TROY AssurePay / FlexPay Enterprise payment platform advertising batch uploads, digital signatures, payment audits, and combinations of paper checks, electronic checks, ACH, and fulfillment services. The public page indicates a subscription/contact-sales model, without simple retail pricing. Larger organizations seeking broader payment automation rather than a basic cheque printer.

The figures and trial periods above are claims displayed on vendor pages, not independent product tests. They can change; confirm current terms on the linked product pages.

Who might consider ASPscripts—and who should look elsewhere

Potential fit

  • A developer who wants to evaluate a .NET starting point and is prepared to review and adapt the project.
  • A business that receives written confirmation of a matching bank layout, printer setup, operating requirements, and support terms.
  • An organization with technical capacity to deploy and maintain the product if it turns out to be source code rather than a finished application.

Likely poor fit

  • A nontechnical buyer expecting a simple install-and-print utility when the delivery format is unknown.
  • A business that needs documented Windows compatibility, modern accounting integrations, cloud access, or independently evidenced security controls.
  • An organization with high-volume payment operations or formal approval and audit requirements that the vendor has not confirmed.
  • A business that issues only a few cheques and already has cheque printing in its accounting software.
