Aprio’s acquisition of Denver-based TGRP Solutions took effect October 1, 2026. More than 70 TGRP professionals are joining Aprio’s Advisory practice, adding finance and accounting support, transaction services, and talent capabilities. Aprio says the combination is intended to strengthen an integrated “Office of the CFO” offering; the announcement does not disclose financial terms or demonstrate post-acquisition results.
What Aprio is acquiring
TGRP Solutions is a Denver advisory firm founded in 2010. It serves middle-market, private-equity-backed, and publicly traded enterprise businesses across Colorado, with services spanning finance and accounting operations, transactions, and talent. Aprio’s October 1 announcement says more than 70 TGRP professionals join its Advisory practice.
TGRP’s services include Office of the CFO support, technical accounting, IPO readiness, transaction support, staffing, and recruiting. Aprio says their addition bolsters its outsourced and fractional CFO services, accounting support, transaction advisory, and talent solutions.

Aprio’s stated Office of the CFO strategy
Aprio says it plans to combine its Accounting Advisory and Talent Advisory capabilities with TGRP’s technical accounting and related services to create an Office of the CFO platform. The stated aim is to support clients’ financial operations and strategic planning. This describes the acquirer’s rationale, not evidence that integration is complete or that clients have achieved particular outcomes.
Aprio CEO Richard Kopelman said: “By combining TGRP Solutions’ technical accounting capabilities with Aprio’s Office of the CFO vision, we are creating a more connected experience that helps companies navigate complexity and unlock opportunity.” TGRP founder and president Mark Reister said the combination expands opportunities for the team and gives clients access to a broader range of resources and solutions.

How the deal fits Aprio’s Denver expansion
Aprio describes TGRP as its fifth Denver-market combination. The company says it entered Colorado in July 2023 with Gomerdinger & Associates, added Pontiff + Associates and Elite Tax & Accounting in December 2024, and brought on TaxOps’ State and Local Tax team in January 2026. Before the TGRP combination, Aprio reported 35 Denver-market team members at offices in Greenwood Village and Westminster. These dates and staffing figures are company-reported.
