Amazon’s 2025 U.S. preview covered home, electronics, beauty, apparel, groceries, toys, games, kitchen goods, books, and holiday decorations. These were examples in Amazon’s event preview, not confirmation that a product is currently discounted, in stock, or available at a particular price. Amazon’s CEO of Worldwide Amazon Stores, Doug Herrington, said, “We aim to meet or beat other retailers’ prices every day so customers don’t have to spend time comparing prices.” That is Amazon’s stated aim, not evidence that every offer matched or beat a competitor.
Did the November 20 date apply outside the U.S.?
No. Amazon’s event dates and features varied by marketplace. Canada also announced a November 20–December 1, 2025 event, but with a Canada-specific App Day on November 20. Japan’s main sale ran November 24–December 1, preceded by an advance sale November 21–23.
