Hulu works on supported Fire TV devices, but app access is not a Hulu subscription. Treat the device price and Hulu’s recurring plan charge as separate costs unless Amazon or Hulu shows a current promotion and its terms at checkout.
Is there a Fire TV Stick and Hulu bundle deal?
No current Amazon–Hulu hardware-and-subscription bundle is established by the available official offer information. The key distinction is between a Fire TV Stick that can run Hulu and a purchase that includes Hulu service. Installing the app does not provide a paid subscription, remove ads, or unlock Hulu + Live TV.
Amazon’s 2026 Prime Day coverage advertised event-only discounts of up to 50% on the Fire TV Stick 4K Plus and 40% on the 4K Max, and its final-day coverage reported up to 55% off the 4K Select. Those were Prime Day promotions, not evidence of a Hulu subscription bundle or prices still available now. Check the current Amazon product listing for the live hardware price rather than relying on a past event discount: Amazon’s Prime Day 2026 deal preview and final-day deal coverage.
A 2017 Amazon promotion did include two months of Hulu with eligible Fire TV purchases, but its activation deadline was November 15, 2017. It is expired, not a current offer: Amazon’s 2017 announcement.

Before treating any “free Hulu” label as a deal, verify on the seller’s current product page and checkout screen whether it includes a device, a Hulu plan, a trial, or merely the Hulu app. Check who qualifies, when the offer ends, what the recurring renewal charge will be, and where cancellation must be handled.
Which Fire TV Stick models are current?
Amazon’s device specification reference lists the Fire TV Stick HD (2026), Fire TV Stick 4K Plus (2025), Fire TV Stick 4K Select (2025), Fire TV Stick 4K Max (2nd Gen, 2023), and Fire TV Stick 4K (2nd Gen, 2023). Older generations may also remain on sale through retailers or circulate secondhand. A listing that says “Fire TV Stick 4K” does not, by itself, identify the newest generation; check the model and generation in the product specifications. See Amazon’s Fire TV device specifications.

Choose by television and use
- Fire TV Stick HD: A sensible low-cost choice for a 1080p television and mainstream streaming. Hulu does not require a premium stick.
- Fire TV Stick 4K Select or 4K Plus: Consider a current 4K model if your television is 4K and you use services with 4K content. Compare the live prices and the feature specifications for the exact generations.
- Fire TV Stick 4K Max: Consider a higher-end model if faster navigation, a heavier app load, or supported premium home-theater features matter to you. It is not necessary solely to watch Hulu.
The television, device, app, and particular program all affect the picture and sound you can get. Buying a 4K stick does not mean every Hulu title is available in 4K, and the Fire TV model does not change which Hulu plan or catalog you subscribe to.

The Disney+/Hulu bundle is a subscription option, not a Fire TV Stick discount. Hulu + Live TV is a substantially different service from on-demand Hulu: consider it only if you want live channels, sports, or local programming. Its lineup depends on ZIP code, and regional rights, location requirements, and blackouts can affect viewing.
A free trial is not necessarily a month of free service. Before accepting one, check the end date, the charge that follows, and how to cancel. Trials and introductory offers may be limited by eligibility and can renew automatically under the stated terms.

How to install Hulu on a Fire TV Stick
- Plug the Fire TV Stick into an available HDMI port. Connect it to power using the included adapter or another approved power source; a television USB port may not reliably power every setup.
- Complete Fire TV setup and connect the device to Wi-Fi.
- Open the Fire TV app store and search for Hulu.
- Install the official Hulu app, then open it.
- Sign in to an existing Hulu account or choose an eligible subscription. Review the plan, billing provider, trial end date, and recurring charge before confirming.
Menu names can differ by Fire OS version and device generation. Hulu lists Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick among supported platforms on its U.S. service page; support for an individual device can still depend on its generation, software, and region.

- Check Wi-Fi and restart the Fire TV Stick. Restart the router if other devices also have connection trouble.
- Install available Fire OS and Hulu app updates, then try uninstalling and reinstalling Hulu.
- Confirm that your Amazon account and device region are supported and that the Fire TV generation can run the current app.
- Try Hulu on another supported device or through Hulu’s website. If the account also fails there, investigate subscription, billing, location, or content-rights restrictions rather than assuming the stick is faulty.
- If a stick behaves erratically, try the included power adapter rather than relying on the television’s USB port.
- For 4K viewing, verify that the television and the specific Fire TV model support the output you want.
Hulu’s U.S. page is the relevant general compatibility reference for U.S. viewers. Its model-specific Fire TV help page is hosted on Hulu’s Japanese support domain, so treat its model details as supplementary rather than a definitive U.S. availability list.

Can you subscribe to Hulu through Amazon?
Amazon support/community material says customers can sign up from a Fire TV device and be billed through Amazon; that does not make Hulu an Amazon-owned service or a Prime Video subscription. See Amazon’s forum clarification.
Direct billing means managing the subscription with Hulu or Disney, as applicable. If Amazon bills the subscription, account changes and cancellation may need to be handled through Amazon’s subscriptions settings. Do not assume every plan, discount, or promotion is available through both billing routes; check the terms and the account that will collect payment before enrolling.

How to decide what to buy
- Lowest-cost setup: If your television is 1080p, compare the live price of the HD stick with Hulu’s ad-supported plan, or the bundle price if you also want Disney+. These are separate purchases.
- 4K setup: For a 4K television, compare current 4K stick prices and specifications. A past Prime Day discount is not a current price guarantee.
- Live channels and sports: Choose Hulu + Live TV only if you need its live programming, and check the ZIP-code-specific lineup and restrictions before committing.
- Hold off on an upgrade: If your existing supported Fire TV device runs Hulu, changing sticks will not itself improve your Hulu plan or remove ads. Upgrade for a hardware need, such as resolution, speed, or app support—not for an assumed subscription benefit.
