Amazon’s 2026 Big Spring Sale ran in the US from March 25 through March 31, and it is over. The most notable phone offers included a Google Pixel 10 reported below $599, a OnePlus 15 at $800, a Motorola Razr (2025) with a reported $238 discount, and a Motorola Edge+ (2023) listed at $399. These are historical sale prices—not current offers—and the available coverage does not establish every listing’s exact storage, condition, seller, or network configuration.
This recap ranks the documented deals by who they suited and explains how to use those prices as benchmarks next time. Check the exact listing and checkout terms before treating any similar offer as a bargain.
What was the 2026 Big Spring Sale?
Amazon’s US event ran March 25–31, 2026, across more than 35 categories. All customers could shop the main sale; Prime members also had access to some Prime-exclusive offers. Deals rotated, and stock could be limited. Amazon’s broad promotion of savings of up to roughly 40% applied to selected products and categories, not automatically to phones. See Amazon’s sale overview and sale FAQ.
Phone roundups covered Google, Samsung, Motorola, OnePlus, and selected iPhone listings, but a roundup mention does not prove a phone was new, unlocked, sold by Amazon, or available at the same price in every configuration. The figures below are March sale reports, not prices checked for October 2026.

Which phone deals stood out?
| Phone | Historical sale signal | Best fit | Deal assessment |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Pixel 10 | Android Central reported a price below $599 and described it as about 25% off. Exact storage and listing details are not established in the available coverage. | Buyers who value Google’s camera and software features. | Strongest clearly documented mainstream value signal; verify the configuration and seller before comparing it with another phone. |
| OnePlus 15 | Android Central reported $800, $100 off. Exact storage and seller are not established in the available coverage. | Shoppers seeking flagship performance below ultra-premium pricing. | A modest, concrete reduction rather than proof of an all-time low. |
| Motorola Razr (2025) | Tom’s Guide reported a $238 discount and described the price as an all-time low in sale-preview coverage. Exact configuration and listing terms are not established here. | People who specifically want a flip foldable at a lower entry price. | Large reported discount, but not enough by itself to settle whether it is good long-term value. |
| Motorola Edge+ (2023) | Tom’s Guide listed it at $399. The cited coverage identifies the model and price, but not the precise listing condition or configuration. | Value seekers considering an older flagship. | Potential performance-per-dollar bargain; weigh its age and remaining software support before buying. |
| Google Pixel 9 Pro XL | Featured in Tom’s Guide’s sale roundup; an exact price is not established here. | Buyers prioritizing a large display and camera-focused premium features. | Worth comparing if the price is clearly shown on the exact listing; the roundup inclusion alone is not a price benchmark. |
Prices and assessments are attributed to Android Central’s Pixel 10 coverage, Android Central’s OnePlus 15 coverage, and Tom’s Guide’s Razr coverage and phone roundup. Broader sale listings are also covered by PhoneArena.
How to judge whether a phone discount is real
A percentage off a reference price is not the same as a good purchase. Compare the final price for the same storage tier and condition against the phone’s recent typical selling price, not just its manufacturer list price. A new 128GB model and a renewed 256GB model are not like-for-like comparisons.

- Check whether the displayed price applies only to one color or storage configuration, and confirm that the item in your cart matches.
- Separate new from renewed or used listings. Condition can affect cosmetic wear, included accessories, warranty, return terms, and battery expectations.
- Use Amazon’s price-history and alert tools as monitoring aids, not proof that a displayed reference price or discount establishes an all-time low. Amazon highlighted Rufus shopping features in its sale overview.
Unlocked does not mean compatible with every carrier
Before paying, confirm the exact US model number and check the carrier’s compatibility information for its 5G bands, VoLTE support, and eSIM requirements. An unlocked phone can still lack the bands or certification needed for ideal service on AT&T, T-Mobile, or Verizon. Check whether the listing requires carrier activation and whether its price depends on a plan, trade-in, or installment billing.
Seller identity matters as much as the Amazon marketplace. A product can be fulfilled by Amazon but sold by an independent marketplace seller. Confirm whether the seller is Amazon, the manufacturer, a carrier, or another business, then review the return policy and warranty for that exact offer. Do not assume a sale-roundup mention verifies unlocked status or seller.

For a balanced Android purchase
The Pixel 10’s reported under-$599 price made it the clearest value signal in the documented coverage. Consider it if camera features and Google software matter more than maximum gaming performance or the fastest charging. Compare the actual storage and price with Samsung and OnePlus alternatives before deciding.
For flagship performance at a lower price
The OnePlus 15’s reported $800 sale price was $100 below its reference price in the cited coverage. It may suit buyers who prioritize performance and charging value. Someone who values camera processing, a broader accessories ecosystem, or an established support relationship more may prefer to compare Samsung or Pixel options instead. The cited figure does not establish a current price.

For a foldable
The Razr (2025)’s reported $238 reduction is most relevant if the flip design and cover screen are worth the trade-offs to you. Before choosing it over a conventional phone, consider hinge durability, repair costs, crease visibility, battery, water resistance, and the exact model’s software-support policy. A large discount does not remove those ownership considerations.
For an older flagship on a tight budget
The Edge+ (2023) appeared at $399 in Tom’s Guide’s coverage. An older flagship can deliver stronger performance or camera hardware than a newer budget phone, while the newer device may have more support life remaining. Check Motorola’s current support policy for this exact model, its condition, and the return terms before treating the sale price as a reason to buy.

For a premium camera-focused phone
The Pixel 9 Pro XL was featured in sale coverage for its camera, display, processor, and AI tools, but the cited roundup does not establish an exact sale price here. Compare the price shown for your chosen configuration with the Pixel 10 and other premium models. Do not infer that a roundup listing makes it the best camera phone or a better value.
For an iPhone
The available sale coverage does not establish a specific iPhone listing and price that can be recommended as a verified deal. Amazon iPhone offers can vary by generation, condition, carrier, storage, and activation requirement. If you prefer iOS—particularly for Apple Watch, AirPods, iMessage, or FaceTime—check the exact listing and compare it with Apple’s iPhone buying page. Treat a renewed listing separately from a new phone.

Use these as comparison bands, not promises that a particular model is currently available at the stated amount:
- Under $400: Compare a discounted older flagship, a Motorola midrange phone, or a renewed iPhone. Check condition, carrier support, and remaining software support; a low initial price can cost more if the phone needs early replacement.
- Around $600: The Pixel 10’s historical under-$599 signal is a useful benchmark. Compare Samsung and OnePlus models at the same storage and condition, especially if their displays, charging, or ecosystem fit you better.
- Around $800: The OnePlus 15’s March report at $800 offers a historical comparison point for a value flagship, not a current offer.
- $1,000 and above: Consider a premium iPhone, Galaxy Ultra, or foldable only if its features suit you and the outright price meaningfully beats that model’s normal street price. A headline discount alone is weak justification at this level.
For a direct purchase, compare Amazon’s marketplace with the Google Store, OnePlus US store, Motorola US, and Samsung US. Manufacturer pages can make warranty handling, configuration choices, and trade-ins clearer; Amazon may offer more seller and delivery choices. A carrier promotion can produce a lower effective price, but calculate its total cost and obligations rather than comparing only the advertised monthly amount.
Amazon phone-buying checklist
- Confirm the device: Match model number, US variant, storage, color, and condition to what you intend to buy.
- Confirm network fit: Check the precise model against your carrier’s compatibility requirements, including 5G bands, VoLTE, and eSIM where relevant.
- Read the offer terms: Identify seller, fulfillment, activation requirements, coupon, Prime restriction, trade-in, installment, and plan conditions.
- Review ownership protections: Read the listing’s return terms and warranty details. For renewed or used stock, confirm what condition and accessories are actually stated; do not infer them from the title.
- Compare the complete price: Include required costs and taxes at checkout, then compare the same condition and storage elsewhere.
- Check what is in the box: Verify whether a charging adapter and other expected accessories are included in the exact listing.
Should you wait for another sale?
Because the 2026 event ended March 31, its prices are best used as historical targets. Future Prime Day, Black Friday, holiday, or manufacturer launch promotions may offer similar models at attractive prices, but no particular phone is guaranteed to return to the same figure. Set a target based on the configuration you want, watch price history, and buy when the complete offer—not merely its discount percentage—meets it.
