Omid Pakseresht says his day is shaped by a sequence of work across Asia, the UK and the US: a quiet start before messages, client and leadership work through the day, dinner as a protected pause, and a late evening block for uninterrupted focus. This is his account in BusinessCloud’s day-in-the-life profile, not an independently observed schedule.

How Pakseresht says his day begins

Pakseresht, SEPANTA’s founder and CEO, says he usually wakes naturally between 7 and 7:30 a.m. and avoids snoozing. He keeps WhatsApp off for the first 10 or 15 minutes, using the quiet to decide what matters before messages begin arriving. He describes the principle this way: “The first few minutes of the day aren’t for work.” He adds, “I need to load before the day loads onto me.”

After that, he has coffee. Some mornings start with calls involving Asia, whose team and clients are already active. He says he works at home for a couple of hours before heading to the office.

Work arranged across three regions

In Pakseresht’s description, the day moves from Asia to the UK through late morning and early afternoon, then to the US in the evening. Rather than trying to match every region’s pace, he says he tries to maintain his own rhythm: “You set the tempo; you don’t let the traffic outside the window set it for you.”

That sequence makes the schedule less like a single local business day and more like a set of overlapping windows for teams and clients. It is the pattern he reports for his work; the profile does not establish that every day follows it exactly.

What fills the working day

Pakseresht says a typical day includes staying close to one or two client accounts, planning or delivering work, investor conversations as he prepares for a raise, and helping someone on the leadership team. As the company has grown more complex, he says his role has shifted away from doing as much hands-on work toward leading, influencing and selling the plan.

He says customer wins create a buzz across the team, but the profile does not identify a specific recent win. His reflections on the shift in his role are his own account, rather than a measured assessment of how his responsibilities have changed.

Dinner is the boundary before a late work block

Lunch, Pakseresht says, may amount to a late breakfast or a pastry. Dinner is different: he protects a couple of hours for it and treats it as a hard boundary in the day. Around 9:30 or 10 p.m., he returns to work for three or four hours of focused time without calls or interruptions.

He calls the contrast ironic: “The irony isn’t lost on me that the most productive part of my day has no meetings in it at all.” He says he stops when the work is done, describing that stopping point as “its own kind of discipline.” These late hours are the schedule he reports, not a general prescription for managing work.

Tools and setup he mentions

Pakseresht names Claude and Spotify as tools he uses regularly. He says he has recently listened to Sina Bathaei’s Persian traditional music blended with electronic music. These details describe his personal routine, not endorsements or recommendations.

For organizing work, he says he uses separate Mac desktop spaces for different regions and major pieces of work. The profile does not specify a Mac model or recommend a computer or accessory.

SEPANTA’s role in the profile

Pakseresht describes SEPANTA as building an AI operating system for large, complex multinational businesses, with software shaped around how each business operates and people retained in decision-making. That is the founder’s account of the company’s aim, not an independent assessment of product performance.
