Which T-Mobile deals were reported for August 2025?
T-Mobile’s August 12, 2025 announcement provides the strongest official detail for one offer: the Revvl 8. A roundup published July 31 by Android Authority also highlighted promotions spanning several phone models and services. The roundup said it would be updated as offers changed, so it is evidence of a contemporary snapshot—not proof that every promotion remained available throughout August.
The available information does not establish a complete inventory of T-Mobile promotions active that month or exact end dates for every offer. For that reason, the categories below should not be read as a definitive ranking or a guarantee of eligibility.
Other offers highlighted in the July 31 roundup
- Phones: Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7, iPhone 16, Google Pixel 9, Samsung Galaxy S25 and Motorola Razr.

What was the Revvl 8 deal?
T-Mobile announced the Revvl 8 on August 12, 2025, and said it would be available online and in stores starting August 14. The company listed the phone at $199.99 retail, or $8.33 per month for 24 months with $0 down through an Equipment Installment Plan. Its “on Us” promotion delivered the price through 24 monthly bill credits rather than an unconditional upfront discount.
Who could qualify
In the announcement, T-Mobile said new and existing customers, including business customers, could qualify with either a new line on most plans or an eligible trade-in in any condition on specified Experience More or Experience Beyond plans. The offer was subject to qualifying credit and service. The release’s example for a new line specified a monthly plan costing $60 or more with AutoPay, plus taxes and fees. Check the original terms for the applicable offer and customer circumstances.

Costs and what happens if service ends
- Taxes on the phone’s pre-credit price and a $35 device connection charge were due at sale.
- Credits were spread across 24 months, so the full promotional value depended on receiving the monthly credits over that period.
- T-Mobile’s terms said canceling the entire account could stop remaining credits and make the outstanding financed balance due.
- Paying off the device early also ended the promotional bill credits.
T-Mobile described the offer as limited time and subject to change. Its terms and eligibility details are in the August 12 announcement.
How to judge whether a “free phone” offer saves you money
A device described as free may still require spending on a qualifying plan, adding a line, trading in a phone or keeping service long enough to receive all credits. Compare the total cost of the service you would actually choose—not just the handset’s advertised price—with the credits you can reasonably expect to receive.

- Line and plan: Check whether you must add a line and which plan tiers qualify; a higher-priced plan can reduce or erase the value of a device discount.
- Trade-in: Verify accepted models and condition rules. The Revvl 8 announcement specified an eligible trade-in in any condition only for certain Experience plans.
- Credit schedule: Find the total credit, how many months it takes to receive it and what happens if you leave or pay off the phone early.
- Upfront charges: Account for taxes, connection fees and any amount due at purchase.
For the Revvl 8 offer, the official announcement documents the credit period and the effect of cancellation or early payoff. The July roundup’s broader categories are useful leads, but the available account does not supply complete terms for each one.

The announcement promoted an upgraded Qualcomm processor, built-in Gemini AI, a larger battery with super-fast charging, a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization, a limited lifetime warranty and five years of security updates. These are claims made by T-Mobile in its product announcement, not independent test results.
