For context only, Samsung’s September 2022 US MSRP list set the unlocked S22 at $799.99 for 128 GB and $849.99 for 256 GB. Samsung later announced US Certified Re-Newed starting prices of $619 for the S22, $769 for the S22+ and $919 for the S22 Ultra in April 2023. Is an unlocked Galaxy S22 worth paying more for?
Swappa reported average prices of $225 for unlocked 128 GB listings and $236 for unlocked 256 GB listings in its October 8, 2026 snapshot. Its page also separates listings by carrier, including Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile. Because the figures are marketplace averages, compare unlocked phones with unlocked phones and carrier-specific models with the same carrier status; verify the individual device’s lock status and compatibility with your carrier before paying. How to compare S22 listings before you buy

- Returns and warranty: Confirm the return window, warranty coverage and who handles a problem after purchase.
