What the figures do—and do not—tell you
The totals show that SEGA has reported successive worldwide sales milestones. They are not a basis for calculating an exact growth rate: the cited announcements do not establish matching measurement dates or provide a consistent accounting definition for every figure. In particular, the August 2025 announcement explicitly includes physical and digital sales in its 27-million-plus total, while the June 2025 passage does not spell out its methodology.
These are publisher-reported franchise totals. The cited announcements do not provide an independent audit or a breakdown by game, platform, region, or revenue. “Sales” and “copies” should therefore be read as SEGA’s stated measures, not as a complete account of players, units currently in circulation, or franchise earnings.
Persona 3 Reload and physical editions
SEGA’s August 2025 release ties the over-27-million milestone to Persona 3 Reload passing 2 million unit sales. It also lists a physical standard edition of Persona 3 Reload for Nintendo Switch 2, with availability beginning October 23, 2025. That is a dated product announcement, not confirmation of current stock; check the retailer’s listing for platform, edition, and availability.
