Those were retailer estimates at that time—not guaranteed delivery dates—and they do not establish current stock or restock timing.
What the retailer’s reported estimates were
HotHardware reported that Overclockers UK said the three graphics cards were sold out at the time and gave these estimated waits:
| # | Preview | Product | Price | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 |
|
ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX™ 5080 16GB GDDR7 OC Edition Graphics Card | $1,831.31 | Buy on Amazon |
| 2 |
|
ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 5090 32GB GDDR7 OC Edition Gaming Graphics Card | $7,478.99 | Buy on Amazon |
| Graphics card | Reported ETA | What the estimate means |
|---|---|---|
| GeForce RTX 5090 | 2–14 weeks | Overclockers UK estimate reported by HotHardware on February 21, 2025; the wide range reflected substantial uncertainty. |
| GeForce RTX 5080 | 1–3 weeks | Overclockers UK estimate reported by HotHardware on February 21, 2025. |
| GeForce RTX 5070 Ti | 2–6 weeks | Overclockers UK estimate reported by HotHardware on February 21, 2025. |
The estimates were not synchronized release dates, and the longest RTX 5090 wait could have extended into late May or early June 2025, based on the contemporaneous report’s calculation. None should be read as a promise that an order would arrive within the stated range.
What Overclockers UK said about preorders
The February 2025 report said the retailer had stopped taking RTX 5090 preorders, while limited weekly RTX 5080 replenishments were available and preorders remained open. For the RTX 5070 Ti, whether a particular SKU could be preordered depended on the retailer’s confidence that it could secure stock within its stated ETA.

For RTX 5070 Ti SKUs where it was not accepting preorders, Overclockers UK directed customers to stock notifications. HotHardware also relayed that customers who had placed an order but had not received a confirmation email were in a preorder queue and could cancel for a full refund. These are descriptions of the retailer’s reported policies at that time, not confirmation of policies currently in force.
Does this tell you when the cards will be restocked now?
No. The report describes conditions in February 2025. It does not establish October 2026 inventory, current orderability, or a current restock calendar for Overclockers UK or any other retailer. Check the exact model and SKU on the retailer’s live product page for current availability, preorder status, and any estimate shown there.
NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 50 Series product page lists the RTX 5090, RTX 5080, and RTX 5070 Ti, but product specifications and manufacturer-listed starting prices are not evidence of retailer stock.
