Two Australian tickets shared the $50 million Division One prize in Powerball draw 1534 in October 2025, with each reported winner receiving $25 million. One ticket was sold in metropolitan Western Australia and the other in the Northern Territory. The WA winner was not identified in the report.

What were the Powerball numbers?

PerthNow reported these numbers for draw 1534: 11, 21, 15, 28, 10, 20 and 24, with Powerball 20. The draw took place on Thursday night, October 9, 2025, according to the PerthNow report published October 10, 2025.

Where were the winning tickets sold?

Lotterywest confirmed to PerthNow that the Western Australian winner held a single-entry ticket sold in metropolitan WA. The ticket was not registered, and the report did not name the winner or identify the retailer. The other Division One ticket was from the Northern Territory.

How much did each winner receive?

The two tickets shared the $50 million Division One pool, so each was reported to receive $25 million. The same draw also produced a WA Division Two ticket worth $121,536.10; PerthNow reported seven Division Two winning tickets nationally.

How Powerball works and what the odds mean

Lotterywest describes Australian Powerball as a weekly Thursday game. A standard game line consists of seven main numbers selected from 1 to 35 and one Powerball selected from 1 to 20. Division One requires matching all seven main numbers and the Powerball.

Lotterywest publishes the chance of winning Division One with one standard game line as 1 in 134,490,400. Its support article gives the chance of winning any division prize as 1 in 66. These are different outcomes: the first is the jackpot odds, while the second includes any prize division. Neither figure predicts the result of a future draw.

Lotterywest’s current Powerball page lists a 6:00 pm AWST draw time, while its support article gives an approximate 6:30 pm AWST time and says entries close at 5:25 pm AWST. Since the operator pages differ on draw timing, check Lotterywest’s current schedule for the applicable draw rather than relying on a single time. Both pages identify Thursday as the regular draw night: Lotterywest Powerball and Lotterywest Powerball support information.
