What posts did the 144 vacancies cover?
The recruitment combined two categories. District Court positions were Stenographer Grade-III in Hindi or English. DLSA positions were Stenographer Grade-II in Hindi and included District Legal Services Authorities, Taluk Legal Services Committees (TLSCs) and Permanent Lok Adalats (PLAs). The available notice establishes the categories and establishments, but not differences in duties, pay or selection tests between them.
Who was eligible?
The contemporaneous announcement reported that applicants needed to have passed Senior Secondary in Arts, Science or Commerce from the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education, an equivalent examination recognized by the government, or a higher examination. It also reported a requirement for working knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari script and Rajasthani dialects.

The announcement gave an age range of 18–40 years as of 1 January 2026 and noted upper-age relaxation for reserved categories. It did not provide the complete category-wise relaxation schedule. These are reported eligibility details, not a substitute for checking the original Advertisement No. 936 for the exact conditions applicable to a candidate.
What was the application fee?
Scroll.in’s 20 January 2025 announcement reported these fee groupings:
Rank #2
- ₹750 for unreserved applicants, creamy-layer OBC/EBS applicants and applicants from outside Rajasthan.
- ₹600 for Rajasthan non-creamy-layer OBC/EBS applicants, applicants from outside Rajasthan and EWS applicants.
- ₹450 for PwD applicants, Rajasthan SC/ST applicants and ex-servicemen.
Because the reported groupings overlap in their description of out-of-state applicants and the original advertisement is needed to confirm exact category labels and applicability, treat these amounts as reported historical figures rather than actionable payment guidance.
Where was the application form?
The Rajasthan High Court user manual described this route for the 2025 application: hcraj.nic.in → Recruitment → “Stenographers for District Courts and DLSAs 2025” → Online Application Portal. The route explains where the historic form was hosted; it does not mean the 2025 form is still accepting applications. The manual is available from the Rajasthan High Court website.

Candidate document corrections in March 2025
A High Court notice dated 21 March 2025 said that some candidates’ uploaded photographs, signatures or identity proofs were not visible and asked the affected candidates to email the materials by 27 March 2025 at 5:00 pm. This was a limited follow-up for affected applicants, not an extension of the general application deadline. See the Rajasthan High Court notice.
Result and further interviews in 2026
In its notice dated 19 January 2026, the High Court referred to a result notice dated 4 June 2025 and called additional provisionally qualified candidates for interview after selected candidates did not join. This was a later step in the 2025 recruitment process; it did not reopen applications. The notice is on the Rajasthan High Court website.

No. The application deadline passed on 22 February 2025. The 2026 recruitment is a separate cycle: the High Court’s separate portal identifies Stenographer recruitment under Advertisement No. 1032 dated 17 July 2026. Check that cycle’s official portal for its current status rather than relying on the old 2025 application route.
What details are not established here?
The original 2025 advertisement is necessary to verify the post-wise or category-wise vacancy allocation, salary or pay scale, detailed selection stages, test pattern and category-specific age relaxations. Those particulars should not be inferred from the total vacancy count or the broad eligibility summary.
