Contemporaneous deal coverage reported that Netflix had not announced a Black Friday or Cyber Monday subscription promotion and that no last-minute offer had appeared.

The short answer: Netflix streaming was not discounted
For U.S. customers, Netflix did not offer a verified Cyber Monday 2025 coupon, reduced monthly rate, or checkout promotion for its standalone streaming plans. Cyber Monday fell on December 1, 2025, and the regular entry-level price was still $7.99 per month for Standard with Ads.
That conclusion is specific to Netflix’s streaming subscription. It does not mean that nothing connected with Netflix was on sale. The Netflix Shop ran a separate merchandise promotion, while providers such as T-Mobile and Optimum advertised packages that included Netflix for eligible customers.

TechRadar’s contemporaneous Cyber Monday coverage likewise reported no direct Netflix subscription promotion and identified Standard with Ads as the lowest standalone option.
Netflix prices during Cyber Monday 2025
The following were the reported U.S. monthly prices in December 2025. They should not be confused with Netflix’s current prices: Netflix later raised its rates, and its current Help Center plan page lists higher prices.

The January 2025 price increase moved Standard with Ads from $6.99 to $7.99, Standard from $15.49 to $17.99, and Premium from $22.99 to $24.99. Netflix’s January 21, 2025 shareholder letter confirmed the price adjustment, while contemporaneous reporting documented the U.S. plan prices.
In other words, $7.99 was the normal post-increase list price. It was not a temporary Cyber Monday price and did not represent a discount.

What was included with Standard with Ads?
Standard with Ads was the cheapest legitimate way to subscribe directly during the 2025 holiday shopping period. It offered 1080p viewing and streaming on two supported devices at once, but the lower price came with trade-offs:
- Commercial breaks appear during viewing.
- Some titles may be unavailable because of licensing restrictions.
- Some older or unsupported devices may not work with the ad-supported experience.
- Live events can include commercial content regardless of the plan.
Netflix explains the ad-supported plan’s features and content limitations in its plan information and advertising Help Center guidance. Before choosing it solely for the lower monthly price, check that the devices you use support the plan and that the shows or movies you want are available on it.
The Netflix Shop did have a Cyber Monday sale—but it was merchandise only
Netflix’s official merchandise store promoted a genuine Cyber Monday offer: 35% off sitewide on eligible Netflix Shop merchandise. The promotion applied to apparel, accessories, collectibles, and other physical products—not to a streaming account or monthly Netflix bill.
An archived Netflix Shop email dated December 1, 2025, promoted “35% Off Sitewide.” A follow-up dated December 2 said the offer had been extended for one more day. Deal coverage reported the promotional code as BFCM35. Those archived reports document a historical promotion; the code expired in December 2025 and should not be treated as a usable 2026 streaming discount.

If you were documenting or checking the offer at the time, the sensible process was:
- Visit the official Netflix Shop.
- Add eligible merchandise to the cart.
- Enter the reported code, if the promotion was still active.
- Confirm that the discount appeared before paying.
- Review exclusions, shipping charges, and whether an item was already marked down.
The key distinction is simple: “35% off Netflix Shop merchandise” does not mean “35% off Netflix.”
Provider bundles were the main alternative to paying Netflix separately
Some customers could effectively pay less for Netflix by receiving it as a benefit of a qualifying mobile, internet, or TV package. These were provider promotions, not Netflix lowering its subscription price. The relevant question is therefore not just “Is Netflix included?” but “Would I buy this underlying service anyway, and what is my total cost?”
T-Mobile: Netflix On Us
T-Mobile’s Netflix On Us benefit included Standard with Ads for eligible customers. Eligibility included certain Go5G and Magenta plans with two or more lines, as well as qualifying higher-tier plans; the exact requirements depended on the customer’s plan.
Customers generally needed to activate the benefit through T-Mobile and link either an existing or a new Netflix account. Choosing a higher Netflix tier could create an additional monthly charge.
This was not “free Netflix” in the absolute sense. The customer still had to maintain the qualifying wireless plan, which could involve multiple lines, taxes, fees, device commitments, or other costs. Switching carriers solely for Netflix makes sense only after comparing the complete wireless bill with the cost of keeping your current service and paying Netflix separately.
Optimum: one year of Standard with Ads for eligible customers
On November 11, 2025, Optimum announced a one-year Netflix Standard with Ads offer for qualifying internet and TV customers. The announcement included these eligibility paths:
- New Optimum Internet customers taking service at 500 Mbps or faster;
- New Extra TV or Everything TV subscribers;
- Existing customers upgrading to 1 Gig or faster internet; and
- Existing customers upgrading to eligible higher TV tiers.
The offer came through Optimum’s qualifying package. It was not a general Netflix Cyber Monday coupon available to anyone. Customers should verify the offer’s activation process, one-year expiration terms, and what Netflix billing will look like after the included period ends.

Verizon: Netflix bundles and activation details
Verizon also offered packages that could include Netflix, sometimes alongside Max. Availability, pricing, eligibility, and promotional periods varied by package. Verizon’s bundle documentation explains an important billing issue: customers must activate Netflix separately and link the benefit to the correct Netflix account.
If an existing direct Netflix subscription is not linked or canceled as required, the old billing can continue. When a provider perk ends, Netflix may also resume charging the payment method stored on the account. Check the account’s billing details before and after activation.
Xfinity: StreamSaver bundles
Xfinity StreamSaver bundles Netflix with other streaming services and advertises savings compared with purchasing the included services separately. The bundle requires Xfinity service, so it is not a standalone Netflix discount.
As with other bundles, compare the full Xfinity bill, equipment or service requirements, included services, promotional expiration date, and any subscriptions you already pay for. You may need to manage or cancel an existing direct subscription to avoid paying twice.

A provider’s “free Netflix” claim means that the provider is covering or crediting Netflix while you maintain a qualifying package. It does not necessarily mean the package is cheaper than your current arrangement.
Use this checklist before switching:
- Underlying service: Would you buy the mobile, internet, or TV plan even without Netflix?
- Eligibility: Does the offer require a certain speed, number of lines, TV tier, or account type?
- Netflix tier: Is it Standard with Ads, or does it include an ad-free or Premium plan?
- Upgrade cost: How much extra would you pay for Standard or Premium?
- Duration: Is Netflix included permanently, for one year, or only for a limited promotional period?
- Post-promotion price: What happens when the provider benefit expires?
- Duplicate billing: Will you need to cancel direct Netflix billing after linking the account?
- Contract and equipment costs: Do the provider’s taxes, fees, device payments, or service requirements change the calculation?
A bundle is most likely to be worthwhile when you already need the qualifying provider service. It is much less likely to be a real saving if you add an expensive wireless or broadband package just to replace a $7.99 streaming bill.
Netflix did not offer a free trial
Netflix’s Help Center says that Netflix does not offer free trials. That was not a Cyber Monday-specific deal; it is a general policy described in Netflix’s free-trial guidance.

Can a Netflix promotional code be used on an existing account?
Any genuine promotion should be redeemed through Netflix’s official redemption flow or through a link provided by the participating partner. Netflix’s rules create several limitations that are useful when evaluating a purported Cyber Monday code:
- Promotions from another country generally cannot be redeemed.
- An account billed through Apple cannot use Netflix promotional offers directly without canceling Apple billing and waiting for the account to close.
- A Netflix-included provider package and a separate promotional offer generally cannot be applied to the same account.
- Extra members cannot redeem promotional offers.
- Changing plans can cause promotional credit to be consumed faster.

What to do if you see a “Netflix Cyber Monday code” online
Coupon pages frequently combine Netflix subscriptions, Netflix Shop products, carrier bundles, gift cards, devices, and competing streaming services under one broad “Netflix deal” label. Before using any offer:
- Navigate directly to Netflix.com, the Netflix Help Center, or the official provider website instead of following an unfamiliar coupon link.
- Identify what is actually being discounted: streaming, merchandise, a gift card, a wireless plan, broadband, or another service.
- Check whether the offer is limited to new customers, returning customers, specific plans, or qualifying provider accounts.
- Do not enter Netflix credentials or payment details into an unfamiliar third-party checkout page.
- Be suspicious of any offer that requires payment to an unrelated vendor or promises an unusually large discount with no clear terms.
- After activating a partner offer, open Netflix’s account or membership page and confirm who is billing you.

How to avoid a duplicate Netflix charge after using a bundle
When a provider includes Netflix, do not assume that linking the account automatically stops every existing charge. Use this sequence:
- Confirm the provider plan is eligible before activating.
- Start activation from the provider’s account portal or app.
- Choose the option to link your existing Netflix account if you already have one.
- Sign in with the Netflix account you actually want to keep, rather than creating a second account.
- Open Netflix’s Account or Membership page and check whether the provider or Netflix is listed as the billing source.
- If the old direct subscription remains active and the provider does not transfer billing automatically, cancel the old direct membership according to the provider’s instructions.
- Record the promotion’s end date and check what will happen when it expires.
Verizon’s bundle terms specifically discuss activation and the possibility that Netflix will resume charging a stored payment method when a provider benefit ends. That makes an account check worthwhile even when the provider advertises Netflix as included.
What was—and was not—a Netflix Cyber Monday deal in 2025?
The cleanest way to summarize the 2025 offers is to separate the categories:
- Direct Netflix streaming discount: None was verified for U.S. Cyber Monday 2025.
- Cheapest standalone streaming plan: Standard with Ads at the regular $7.99 per month.
