No—the OSSSC CRE-2023(III) registration deadline is not today. Online registration or re-registration closed on 15 February 2024, and the separate deadline to submit the online application was 20 February 2024. What were the OSSSC CRE-2023(III) deadlines?
OSSSC’s notice dated 16 January 2024 set two distinct deadlines:

Registration alone did not complete the process: candidates also had to submit the online application by its later deadline. The dates and instructions are in the OSSSC notice revising Pharmacist vacancies and extending CRE-2023(III) dates.
Which recruitment cycle does CRE-2023(III) refer to?
CRE-2023(III) covered Pharmacist and Multipurpose Health Worker (Male) posts. OSSSC has used similar CRE-2023 wording for other recruitment cycles, so check the full cycle label and post in a notice before relying on its dates.

Pharmacist vacancy revision
The 16 January 2024 notice revised the Pharmacist vacancy count from 1,002 to 206 following restructuring of the Odisha Pharmacist Service Cadre. That figure applies to the Pharmacist post, not to both posts combined, and is a historical figure for this recruitment cycle—not a current vacancy announcement.
What happened after applications closed?
OSSSC later published the written-test results and a provisional screening list for document verification. The written test was held on 3 August 2024, and the notice said document verification was to begin from 4 April 2025 onwards. These are past recruitment-stage updates, not an indication that applications or verification are open now. See the OSSSC results and document-verification notice for Pharmacist and MPHW (Male).

Where can you check for a current OSSSC opening?
If you are looking for an opportunity now, check the official OSSSC recruitment portal and open the notice for the specific recruitment cycle and post you want. The portal lists later recruitment notices, including 2026 items; do not use CRE-2023(III)’s expired dates as dates for another cycle. OSSSC’s results archive also records the extension and later result notices for CRE-2023(III).
