The Nintendo eShop E3 2019 Sale was a limited-time promotion on selected digital Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS games. Nintendo UK advertised savings of up to 50% through June 18, 2019; Nintendo of America gave a US sale window of June 11 at 10 a.m. PT through June 18 at 11:59 p.m. PT. The promotion has ended, and those historical discounts are not current prices.
What the Nintendo E3 2019 sale included
Nintendo described the promotion as discounts on selected digital games for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS, offered through Nintendo eShop and, in the US announcement, Nintendo.com. It was not an announced sale of physical games, consoles, accessories, or other products.

The word “selected” matters: Nintendo UK’s “up to 50%” figure described the maximum advertised saving, not a discount guaranteed on every eligible title. The UK notice does not list individual games or prices, and the available US announcement does not provide the historical title-by-title catalog or prices either. Nintendo UK’s June 14, 2019 weekly download news confirms its offer terms; a contemporaneous report reproducing Nintendo of America’s June 6 announcement describes the US sale and its timing.
When the sale ran
| Region and source | Published sale window | What the source establishes |
|---|---|---|
| United Kingdom — Nintendo UK, June 14, 2019 | Through June 18, 2019 | Selected Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS games; savings of up to 50%. |
| United States — Nintendo of America announcement, reproduced June 6, 2019 | June 11, 2019, 10 a.m. PT to June 18, 2019, 11:59 p.m. PT | Discounts on selected digital Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS games in Nintendo eShop and on Nintendo.com. |
These are region-specific terms, not a single global schedule. The UK notice says the offer ran “until June 18th” but does not specify a closing time or time zone; the US timestamps should not be applied to the UK offer.

Which games were discounted?
The available announcements establish that the sale covered selected games on both platforms, but they do not establish a complete list of titles, exact prices, or the size of each title’s discount. Nintendo of America directed readers to Nintendo’s E3 sale page for its full list at the time. That historical page and a complete UK catalog are not included in the cited material, so a reliable title-by-title list or regional price comparison cannot be given here.

No. The promotion ended on June 18, 2019. Its “up to 50%” maximum is a historical description of the UK offer, not a current Nintendo eShop discount or a promise about today’s prices.
