CryptoKeying’s 2024 Cloud Mining Contract: Advertised Profits and What’s Unverified

A look back at CryptoKeying’s October 2024 cloud-mining promotion: its six listed investment and profit figures, the key terms it did not disclose, and why the available evidence does not verify the returns or resolve the company’s legitimacy.

Short answer: TechBullion’s October 16, 2024 announcement advertised six CryptoKeying cloud-mining contracts with stated net profits, but the reviewed announcement does not disclose the contract duration, hash rate, fees, payout conditions, or a reproducible calculation. Those figures are promotional claims, not verified returns. The available evidence does not establish whether CryptoKeying is legitimate or whether customers received the advertised profits.

The announcement is a dated promotion, not evidence that the contracts are currently available. Here is what it said—and what a prospective customer would need to verify before sending money.

What CryptoKeying’s announcement said

TechBullion published “On the eve of the US election – CryptoKeying launches new cloud mining contract” on October 16, 2024. The article promoted a simplified signup process, a claimed $10 reward for new users after successful registration, and six contract tiers. Those are statements in the promotional article, not independently confirmed offers or payouts. Read the TechBullion announcement.

TechBullion’s October 2024 announcement also described CryptoKeying as founded in 2018, headquartered in Surbiton, UK, “legal and financially regulated,” and operating mining equipment in several countries. It claimed the service had more than 2.8 million users. The sources available here do not independently establish those company, regulatory, equipment, or user-count claims.

Advertised contract amounts and stated profits

The table reproduces the six investment amounts and net-profit figures listed in TechBullion’s October 16, 2024 announcement. The amounts are claims in that article; they are not verified payouts or independently assessed returns.

Contract tier named in the announcement Investment amount listed by TechBullion Stated net profit listed by TechBullion
Experience Contract $100 $6.6
WhatsMiner M30S+ $500 $36.6
Bitcoin Miner S19k Pro $1,000 $183.4
WhatsMiner M60S $3,000 $894.6
WhatsMiner M66S $5,000 $2,142
WhatsMiner M63S+ $8,000 $5,409.6

The announcement names WhatsMiner M30S+ hardware in one tier. That does not establish that a customer buys or receives a miner; the offer is described as a cloud-mining contract.

Why the profit figures cannot be checked from the announcement

A stated net profit is meaningful only if the reader can see how it is calculated and what conditions apply. The reviewed TechBullion text does not provide the details needed to reproduce or evaluate these figures:

  • Contract duration and when mining or payouts would begin.
  • Hash rate assigned to the customer and evidence of the underlying equipment or facility.
  • Operating, maintenance, electricity, or other fees and how they affect the stated net profit.
  • A payout formula, payout currency, schedule, withdrawal minimum, or conditions that could change or prevent payment.
  • Cancellation and refund terms, pool allocation, and the customer’s legal claim if the operator stops paying.

Without those terms, a reader cannot determine whether the figures describe a fixed-term estimate, a particular mining scenario, or a result conditional on undisclosed assumptions. The announcement’s “net profit” label alone does not establish that any customer earned or could withdraw those amounts.

Does the evidence show CryptoKeying is legitimate?

It does not settle that question. The announcement is evidence that TechBullion published a promotion and listed the tiers above; it is not independent verification of CryptoKeying’s identity, mining capacity, regulatory status, contract terms, or customer outcomes. The sources reviewed also do not establish current contract availability, current company registration, or customer payout evidence. That is not proof that the service is fraudulent, but it is not a basis for treating the advertised profits as dependable.

There is an important identity distinction in the regulator material. The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) warning published June 27, 2025 names Crypto Key Limited / crypto-keylimited.com and says that named firm is not authorised by the FCA. It gives an address in Surbiton, but the available sources do not establish that this firm or domain is the same entity as CryptoKeying or cryptokeying.com. The warning should not be treated as an FCA warning about CryptoKeying. Read the FCA warning for Crypto Key Limited / crypto-keylimited.com.

What to verify before paying for any cloud-mining contract

The FCA advises consumers to check the Financial Services Register and highlights warning signs such as unrealistic return promises. That general guidance does not determine CryptoKeying’s status. Use the exact legal firm name and domain when checking, and do not assume that a similar name or address identifies the same business. Read the FCA’s crypto investment scam guidance.

Before sending funds, ask the provider for written terms and independently verify the details that affect both the mining claim and your ability to recover funds:

  • The contracting legal entity, its registered details, the exact website domain, and any claimed regulatory permissions. Check permissions directly with the relevant regulator; a marketing statement that a service is “regulated” is not confirmation.
  • The term, assigned hash rate, mining pool, proof of equipment and facility, fee schedule, and a worked example showing how the advertised profit is calculated.
  • The payout currency, formula and schedule, withdrawal minimums, and any conditions that can change payouts.
  • Cancellation and refund rights, the governing contract, and what legal recourse you have if mining stops or the operator does not pay.

If the provider cannot supply clear, verifiable answers, the advertised profit is not enough information to make an informed decision. Do not treat a signup reward, a named miner model, or a forecast tied to Bitcoin’s price as evidence that a contract is profitable or that you will be paid.
