No verified OSSSC CRE registration window is open today, October 8, 2026. The CRE-2025 application deadlines in the official notices have passed. There is also an important name distinction: the CRE notices reviewed were issued by OSSSC, not OSSC. Check the exact commission and recruitment notice before applying.
Which commission runs the CRE notices?
OSSC and OSSSC are separate Odisha commissions. The Combined Recruitment Examination notices covered here were issued by the Odisha Sub-Ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC). The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has its own recruitment notices and application entry; the CRE dates below should not be applied to an unidentified OSSC recruitment.
What were the OSSSC CRE-2025 deadlines?
OSSSC’s short advertisement, dated December 29, 2025, initially set registration or re-registration through January 21, 2026, and online application submission through January 29, 2026. A later extension notice hosted by the Government of Odisha moved those respective deadlines to February 15 and February 22, 2026. Both dates have passed.
Registration and application submission were separate stages, so “last date” alone can obscure which deadline a notice means.

Which posts did CRE-2025 cover?
The CRE-2025 notice covered recruitment for Revenue Inspector, ICDS Supervisor, Village Agricultural Worker, Junior Assistant, Assistant Revenue Inspector, Amin and Statistical Field Surveyor. These posts identify the specific notice and cycle; they do not establish that another recruitment is open.
What does the current OSSSC notice list show?
On October 8, 2026, the OSSSC homepage showed CRE-2025(II) physical-test and admission-letter activity, rather than a current CRE registration notice. It also listed a separate extension for Radiographer-2026. That Radiographer notice is not a CRE deadline extension.
OSSSC had also issued a distinct CRE-2025(II) extension notice for Forester, Forest Guard and Excise Constable, setting registration through February 15 and application submission through February 22, 2026. Those historical dates do not mean registration remains open.

- Open the relevant commission’s official website: OSSC or OSSSC.
- Find the specific recruitment notice and match its commission, examination cycle and post group. Do not assume that a notice for CRE-2025, CRE-2025(II) or another recruitment applies to your intended post.
- Read the registration or re-registration deadline separately from the application-submission deadline, and check for a later official notice changing either date.
- Use the commission’s official Apply Online entry only when the notice confirms the application window is currently available. The OSSSC homepage provides recruitment notices and an Apply Online link; OSSC has its own Apply Online entry.
OSSSC’s CRE-2025(II) extension notice advised candidates to visit the commission website regularly for updates. A deadline should be treated as current only when a specific official notice supports it.
