NBEMS’s 4 April 2024 schedule listed nine examinations from April through October, but the dates were tentative and later notices changed at least one major entry. The schedule is historical, not a list of upcoming exams. Here are the original dates and the key updates candidates needed to check.
What the NBEMS 2024 schedule announced
In a notice dated 4 April 2024, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) replaced its 9 November 2023 schedule with a calendar covering nine examinations. The notice called the dates tentative and subject to approvals and confirmations; candidates were directed to check the relevant information bulletin or the NBEMS website for exact dates. How the schedule changed after April
NEET-PG 2024
The April calendar placed NEET-PG on 23 June. NBEMS later posted a postponement notice dated 22 June for the exam scheduled that day, followed by a notice titled “Revised schedule for conduct of NEET-PG 2024,” dated 5 July. The available notice listings establish that these updates were issued, but do not provide the replacement date. Check NBEMS’s notice listing, department notice listing or all-notices archive for the notices and any subsequent information.
On 18 June, before the postponement, NBEMS had described the planned NEET-PG sitting as a computer-based exam across the country at more than 1,000 test centres in approximately 300 test cities. Those were figures for the plan at that time, not a description of the eventual sitting. NBEMS’s 18 June caution advisory.

The April notice is useful as a record of NBEMS’s planned 2024 exam dates, but it should not be treated as final confirmation. For any specific exam, rely on that exam’s information bulletin, admit card and later NBEMS notices rather than the calendar alone. The word “tentative” matters: subsequent operational notices can alter an original schedule entry.
