What FIFA Rivals is—and when it launched
FIFA and Mythical Games announced the game on November 22, 2024, as a free-to-play title planned for iOS and Android. FIFA described it as part of its non-simulation gaming portfolio: an arcade-style alternative, not a claim that it is equivalent to EA’s former FIFA Mobile game. FIFA’s announcement outlined club creation and management, lineup upgrades, real-time player-versus-player matches and in-game and web marketplaces using Mythos blockchain technology.

FIFA announced worldwide availability on June 13, 2025, through the App Store and Google Play. Its launch release highlighted PvP, live events, PvE scenarios and tradeable digital collectibles. The official game site presents it as a free mobile game. As of October 8, 2026, Google Play listed Android and Windows availability; Apple listed iPhone and iPad compatibility with iOS or iPadOS 15.0 or later. Check the relevant store listing for current device and regional availability, as listings can change.
What the current game descriptions say
The current descriptions combine arcade football with roster management. Google Play says players build a team, choose formations and tactics, play turn-based scenarios, and compete in real-time matches and tournaments. It also describes a FIFA World Cup Legacy Mode featuring teams from the 2010, 2014, 2018 and 2022 tournaments. The official site summarizes the loop as building a squad, playing fast matches and taking on challenges. These are publisher descriptions, not an independent assessment of gameplay.

When checked on October 8, 2026, the official site said the FIFA World Cup 2026 season was live. Google Play showed 1M+ downloads and 26.1K reviews, and a listing update date of September 30, 2026. Those figures are storefront indicators, not independently audited player or sales totals.
How its Web3 and digital-item claims should be understood
The 2024 announcement put Mythos blockchain technology and web and in-game marketplaces at the center of FIFA Rivals’ planned feature set. At launch, FIFA described collectibles as tradable items on the Mythical Marketplace. The current Google Play description instead names the Pulse Market. These are different marketplace names in materials from different dates; use Pulse Market when referring to the current store description.

Digital player items and trading are part of the product description, but the cited materials do not establish that an item can always be sold, transferred without restriction or resold for a profit. Mythical Games CEO John Linden described the launch as combining arcade play and team-building with “actual ownership in gaming.” That is the company’s characterization, not independent confirmation of the legal rights attached to each item.
What it costs—and what the listings disclose
The game is free to download, but the Apple and Google Play listings disclose in-app purchases. Google Play also says purchases can include random items. That store disclosure does not, by itself, establish the odds of receiving a particular item or how much a player is likely to spend. Review the purchase details shown in your store and in the game before paying.

The official materials describe an app distributed through mobile stores, with digital collectibles and in-app purchases. They do not establish an official boxed or console edition, FIFA Rivals-branded physical merchandise, a required accessory, or a physical guide.
