Can existing customers keep a legacy plan?
Verizon says some customers can retain named legacy plans on accounts that also have newer plans. Those legacy lines count toward the account’s total line count, which Verizon uses in determining monthly cost. See Verizon Support’s Unlimited Welcome FAQ for the account context. Retention eligibility and the terms on a particular line are account-specific; the retired plans are not options for a new signup.
