No available evidence establishes that BlockDAG delivered, or can be expected to deliver, a 30,000x return. The claim appeared as promotional potential language, and the headline’s comparison with Arbitrum and THORChain does not provide a like-for-like performance test. The headline was published in September 2024; “latest” describes its context then, not necessarily the present.
What does the 30,000x figure actually mean?
It is a claim about potential, not a reported investment result. An AMBCrypto page updated May 4, 2024, marked “Image Press Release” and identified as a paid post, used the phrase “30,000x ROI potential” and also mentioned a projected $10 price. That page does not independently validate the return calculation. Read the AMBCrypto paid post.
The number cannot be assessed as an investment forecast without a defined starting price, target price, time period, and calculation method. The cited promotional material does not establish those inputs in a way that verifies the claim. Nor does “potential” mean a return was realized: no independently sourced result in the cited material shows an investor receiving 30,000 times an investment.
For perspective, if “30,000x” means ending with 30,000 times the amount invested, $100 would become $3 million before costs and taxes. That is only the arithmetic implied by the multiplier, not a BlockDAG forecast or outcome. The phrase “ROI” can also mean profit relative to the original investment rather than total value received, so the claim needs a clear definition before even its arithmetic can be checked.

Does the AMA substantiate the headline?
TechBullion published the exact 30,000x headline on September 20, 2024. The available article record does not establish a primary AMA recording or transcript, the event date, a named speaker, or the calculation behind the figure. Does the comparison with Arbitrum and THORChain prove they were “left in the dust”?
No. TechBullion’s 2024 headline frames BlockDAG’s presale alongside developments involving Arbitrum and THORChain, but the comparison does not establish a shared measure of network performance, investment return, or technical progress. A presale projection cannot by itself demonstrate that one network outperformed two others.

A meaningful comparison would need the same dates and clearly defined measures for each project—for example, network purpose and architecture, deployed functionality, governance and upgrade activity, token status, and the quality of evidence behind any investment claim. The headline’s presale-and-development framing is not that benchmark.

What do BlockDAG’s project materials establish?
BlockDAG describes BDAG as a proof-of-work Layer 1 using a directed acyclic graph structure. That is the project’s own description, not an independent technical assessment. See BlockDAG’s site.
The project FAQ describes X-series miners and gives a process for connecting a wallet to access purchased coin balances. Those materials support that the project markets mining hardware and explains a wallet-connection process; they do not independently establish hardware performance, delivery, profitability, or marketplace availability. Owning or using a marketed miner would not, on its own, verify a token-price projection. Hardware costs, operating expenses, token access and resale conditions would all matter to an individual’s outcome, and the cited materials do not establish a profitable result.

- Ask for the primary source. Look for the AMA recording or transcript and confirm the date and speaker rather than treating a headline as a quotation.
- Demand a reproducible calculation. Identify the starting valuation or purchase price, assumed future price, time horizon, supply and dilution assumptions, and whether “return” means profit or total value.
- Separate technical claims from investment claims. A project’s description of its architecture or hardware does not verify a token’s future price or an investor’s return.
- Compare like with like. Use the same dates and metrics for BlockDAG, Arbitrum and THORChain; a marketing comparison is not a performance ranking.
- Treat extraordinary upside language cautiously. A projected multiple is not a guarantee, a measured result, or evidence that a purchase is suitable for your finances.
On the evidence cited here, the 30,000x figure should be read as a promotional claim, while the “left in the dust” wording remains an unsupported comparison—not as a verified result or dependable basis for an investment decision.
