If the PNC mobile banking app is not loading or working, the available information does not confirm whether PNC is experiencing a live outage. Check PNC’s Update Center for known issues or planned interruptions. The Online and Mobile Banking maintenance notice found there was last updated November 2, 2025, so it is not a current all-clear for October 8, 2026. If your access problem is not listed, PNC says to contact customer support.
How to check whether PNC has reported an outage
-
Open PNC’s Update Center and look for a notice about Online and Mobile Banking. PNC says known issues and planned interruptions are detailed there.
-
Check the notice’s update time before relying on it. The surfaced Online and Mobile Banking notice says no maintenance was scheduled, but it was last updated November 2, 2025. That dated notice cannot establish whether the app is up or down today.
-
If the Update Center does not list your access problem, use PNC’s customer-service page or the support number published on the Update Center.

Reports in app-store reviews, including complaints that the app will not open or crashes, are individual accounts. They do not show that there is a bank-wide outage or establish its cause.
What to try depends on where the problem occurs
A PNC-reported service issue, an app or device problem, and trouble signing in through a web browser are different possibilities. Unless PNC confirms an incident, treat these as possibilities rather than a diagnosis.

If the mobile app will not open or keeps failing
First check the Update Center, then contact PNC if your access issue is not listed. The available PNC guidance does not establish that reinstalling the app, clearing its data, or changing devices will fix an app failure or a PNC-side issue, so do not treat those steps as guaranteed remedies.
If you cannot sign in on PNC’s website
PNC’s login troubleshooting page gives guidance for online banking, not a complete fix list for app crashes. For web sign-in trouble, it suggests trying another browser or device, enabling pop-ups, avoiding a VPN when using PNC websites, entering your credentials directly rather than following a link, and clearing browser cache or cookies. If the problem continues, contact PNC customer care.

If you see a different app layout
PNC announced a new mobile app experience on July 7, 2026, with a phased introduction and an expectation that all clients would receive it by the end of summer. Google Play describes the release as phased and shows an August 27, 2026 update. Different customers may therefore see different experiences; the available information does not show that the rollout caused a particular loading or sign-in failure. The app listing is PNC Mobile on Google Play.
