The claim that more than $8 million was committed to Mutuum Finance is a historical figure from sponsored articles published in May 2025—not a verified current fundraising total. A later sponsored article made a larger claim, but neither report independently confirms the figures. The phrase “ahead of its next price move” is promotional language, not evidence that MUTM’s price will rise.
Where the $8 million claim came from
A sponsored Cyprus Mail article published May 14, 2025 said Mutuum Finance had raised more than $8 million. It described MUTM at $0.025 and anticipated a next presale price of $0.03. Those are claims reported in sponsored coverage, not independently verified fundraising or price data.
A Times Tabloid sponsored press release published May 15, 2025 said more than $8 million had been committed and included a disclaimer that it was not investment advice. This corroborates that the claim appeared in promotional coverage at the time; it does not independently substantiate the amount.
Why the reported totals should not be treated as current
A later sponsored Cyprus Mail article dated February 14, 2026 claimed more than $20.5 million and over 19,000 investors, alongside different presale phase and price details. The later report is still promotional and does not independently verify the underlying totals. The change between reports does not prove either figure.

What Mutuum Finance is described as—and what is unconfirmed
The promotional articles describe Mutuum Finance as a proposed decentralized finance lending and borrowing protocol. In that model, users supply digital assets to earn interest and borrowers obtain liquidity against collateral. The coverage also describes a MUTM token and incentives connected with protocol revenue.
Those descriptions do not independently demonstrate that the protocol is live, that its features work as described, or that the proposed token economics have been implemented. The available evidence also does not establish the token contract, whether MUTM is trading, or independent audit and security findings.
How to assess the “next price move” language
A presale price step announced in promotional coverage is not a forecast of the token’s future market price. It does not establish that a later price will rise, that buyers will be able to sell at a stated price, or that a market with sufficient liquidity exists. For a meaningful assessment, distinguish a proposed sale price from a verifiable token contract, completed transactions, and actual trading conditions.

#1 Best Overall
- Check whether a claimed amount is independently documented, and how the source defines “raised” or “committed.”
- Look for a verifiable token contract and evidence of trading and liquidity rather than relying on presale copy.
- Confirm whether lending and borrowing functions are deployed, not merely described as planned.
- Seek independently published audit or security information; the promotional articles cited here do not establish it.
Without current primary documentation or independent verification, the $8 million headline is best understood as a past promotional claim—not proof of current investor backing or a reason to expect a price increase.
