Contemporary coverage reported a $10,000 campaign goal and proposed features such as a clan system and markets for keys, peripherals, and skins. The available sources do not establish whether the campaign met its goal or whether those proposals were delivered.
What was MMOAuctions’ Kickstarter for?
The campaign presented MMOAuctions as a gaming-focused marketplace where players could trade digital game goods and other gaming-related merchandise. Droid Gamers reported the launch on February 28, 2018, and described the project as having been in development since early 2016 by a 12-person team from Poland and the UK; those development and team details were reported by the outlet, not independently verified.
The pitch covered a broader range of goods than virtual items alone. MMOAuctions’ current site describes a marketplace focused on online multiplayer gaming goods and services, including currency, items, accounts, and services such as boosting. Its broader descriptions also mention game keys, board games, action figures, and gaming accessories. These are company descriptions, not proof that every category is currently active or available in every region. See the MMOAuctions homepage and its about page.
What did the campaign reportedly promise?
Gamezebo reported a $10,000 Kickstarter goal and described several proposed stretch goals. They should be understood as campaign-era proposals, not confirmed product features.

What was said about security?
Launch-era coverage described a six-step verification process that included checks such as phone and payment verification, along with filtering for VPN, proxy, or Tor use. It also described Scamkiller as a fraud database built from information gathered from online communities and trading sites. These were reported company claims, not independent security findings or a guarantee that a transaction was safe.

What remains unknown about the Kickstarter?
The available sources do not establish the campaign’s final fundraising total, whether it succeeded, or whether backer rewards or stretch goals were fulfilled. A sponsored Nerdarchy article published March 1, 2018, described the project’s claimed features and security, but promotional coverage is not independent confirmation of outcomes. Readers should therefore distinguish the 2018 pitch from the marketplace the company describes now.
